Lolell is the best thing in this thread.

Gotta keep rolling the talent through. Agree having a tackle that could replace Strief would be prudent.

I think they take one when the value and ability meet, any round.

Don't see much for #13 must-pick tackles.

#31
Flowers, Clemmings, Peat could be BPA. I think Collins could actually still be on the board then too.

#44
Erving and Fisher

They met with Chaz Green Florida who looks like a later rounder.

I'm talking about with the saints. They're is still a transition from college to the NFL

Roaf started all 16 games at right tackle and did not miss an offensive snap during his first season and earned All-Rookie honors. The following year he was switched to left tackle and performed at a level that earned him more national accolades.

got me thinking, I'm an advocate of building through the drafting BPA. That said, I wonder if they review the history and just say, Ya know we haven't drafted a tackle higher than the last pick in the 2nd Round since 2005.

The Saints have drafted some very good tackles with high picks-

#13 Jammal Brown
7 Kyle Turley
8 Willie Roaf
6 Dombrowski

If my memory serves me, all of those guys were highly touted prospects in the draft. Don't think there's anyone with the same recognition at the tackle position.

I would love Collins this year playing at guard and then next year draft another early guard to move him outside.

They've taken a collegiate tackle in almost every draft and they've whiffed on 3 of their 4 attempts at getting depth in recent drafts so good chance they do.
