Don't tell me a pass rush will help because I know that and am sick of hearing it! The Dome Patrol will never be just like our 2010 offense will never be!

I see no real improvement next year. Our D will rank in the bottom 10. There is simply not enough playmakers to turn the worst def in history around in 1 year. Whoever is saying that we may be scary good is smoking the best crack this earthhas ever seen. Its going to take a couple of years to turnaround this shitstorm of a defense. How bout this, I fricking guarantee it will be better than last yr....and thats not saying alot.

So if you all believe and are aware of the parody in the NFL, then why can't our defense make great strides and turn it around in one season?
It took one motherfrickin player on that 2009 team to turn our shite around
One aging safety who was mediocre the season before
But yet for some reason ya'll cannot fathom a turnaround
ya'll are pathetic sacks and should never play organized sports(and you probably didn't)
P.S. don't teach your kids sports either
I mean it takes faith and belief
i hate this board sometimes

You need to step away from the keyboard and reevaluate your life if me saying "I'll wait til they prove it" set off that mini-tantrum.
For the record, I played organized sports almost my entire childhood. Soccer when I lived in NH, a year of baseball down here, and then football Sophomore and Senior year.
I had to have part of my lung removed Junior year, and I worked out so hard to play my senior year for my team that I actually had to get my side restitched after partially ripping it attempting to do pull-ups. I went from playing corner to starting at RT for most of the season, and granted I was fricking awful because I had just had lung surgery the year before and was weak as hell, but I managed to keep our QB alive.
Fan is short for fanatic, so I'm not going to hold your personal attacks against you, but when you make generalizations like that it makes you look ignorant.

was just tired of this 'no chance' 'worst defense, we'll never get better attitude'

we cant be much worse, but what piece did we add that makes you think we can be good?
Keenan Lewis is good, our safeties still sucks, adding a guy who's biggest sell is "can cover the nickel" isn't something that makes me jump up an down. We added the #3 pass rusher from Dallas.
besides that we are hoping on some other OLBs to make a difference.
Can we be good? i am optimistic. I think we were better geared to a 34 for a while now. And you never know when someone will have one of those years.
I am just not getting my hopes up till they get on the field.

We do pretty well in the 1st year of new dc's.
