Who do you have that the Saints might surprise with at #13?

WR Breshad Perriman is all I got. Not my choice but I have read from more than one source that the front office loves him. Hope they have more #31 (or even 44!) love for him.

Never ever discount the impact of Payton's obsession with toys!

I'm so torn on Perriman. While we do need a WR, I'd much rather wait and hope to land Dorial Green-Beckham at 31 or perhaps Nelson Agholor at 44.

As for a surprise?

Arik Armstead DT Oregon
Marcus Peters CB Washington

Not sure if these would qualify as a surprise since there are a lot of mock drafts with these guys as the pick.

solid names. Gregory would be surprise due to his "concerns"

Danny Shelton...not saying it would necessarily be my pick, but our RunD is still bad

I can see this happening. I personally want one of the 3 WR's or 2 DTs (Shelton/Armstead).

I really thought with picking 13 and with all the total picks they there would be no way to screw up the draft this year

The more I read, the more I'm thinking they very well may do just that

Watched the Fiesta Bowl from 2 yrs ago when UCF played Baylor on one of the ESPN classic channels. TBH, Perriman did not do more than their other WR's did. Actually, the commentators (who get most of their info from "insiders") said, "UCF has some good WR's, but not of them stand out." Perriman looks decent in film, but he has Cordarrelle Patterson written all over him.

That wouldn't even be a remote surprise. If he's there and guys like Gregory are gone, its a no-brainer.

Perriman's big thing is that be will need some time to develop. So two years ago is a bit of a stretch to judge him on.

My surprise would be Williams. Not surprised that they drafted him, just that either he was available or they made a move to go up and get him. Other than that, I think the pick will be very predictable once we see the first 12 come off the board.

The biggest surprise of all. We take a LB'er in the 1st round.

Yea, which is what scares me about him. Like I said, he has Cordarrelle written all over him.

I kind of agree. I think his most likely upside is that of a Torrey Smith.
