re: PFF's 10 Most UNDERrated Prospects - tdevil1
6. Tony Lippett, WR, Michigan State While Lockett is hurt by his size, there is no such problem for Lippett. Instead, it's his rather unconventional style that at times leaves him looking a little bit awkward as a receiver. That doesn't mean he can't be successful, however, and when you wa...

PFF's 10 Most UNDERrated Prospects - tdevil1
1. Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas State If there is a prospect in this draft who looks like he's simply too small to be regarded as a top pick, it's Lockett. A big-play threat who produced 559 yards on passes 20 yards or more downfield in 2014, he plays much bigger than his 5-foot-11, 175-poun...

re: PFF's 10 Most Overrated Prospects - tdevil1
6. Eddie Goldman, DT, Florida State Goldman has many of the traits you look for in a nose tackle at the NFL level. He holds up well versus double-teams and has the strength to control most one-on-one blocks. He was by no means special in that regard, however, and was fairly poor at sheddin...

PFF's 10 Most Overrated Prospects - tdevil1
1. Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State While most left the combine in awe of Waynes' speed, the discussion among PFF analysts centered on the fact that his 20-yard shuttle (4.39 seconds) was slower than his 40 time (4.31), a rare feat we couldn't recall seeing. That poor change-of-direction ab...
I say all the red flag issue guys are determined one on one personally.
This. Really easy to write off people as "bad character" guys from afar. I know if I was being watched all the time during my late teens and early 20s, I would have been characterized the same way. Up to ...
I know you admitted Nassib and Beasley aren't apples to apples but that's a bad comparison regardless.
I'll admit that someone projected to go top 15 usually gets taken by end of the first, but my general point was there are circumstances where they drop to the 2nd...another examp...

re: Mel McShay and Todd Kiper's Mock Special - tdevil1
There have been plenty of guys who have dropped out the first who were expected to go first round or even top 10...remember right before the 2013 draft when everyone was debating between Ryan Nassib and EJ Manuel to the Browns and Bills? Nassib falls to 4th round. Not saying comparing Beasley to...
75. New Orleans Saints McShay's pick: Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State The Saints keep checking off needs in this draft, with OLB Randy Gregory, WR Devin Smith, G A.J. Cann and now Darby, who brings depth and elite speed to New Orleans' revamped secondary.
...

re: Mariota Lynchpin to Draft - tdevil1
its been discussed at length, but, assuming you would have to move to #2 to get Mariota and depending on what draft value chart you refer to... the Saints would have to give somewhere close to both Rd1 picks, their Rd2 pick, and both Rd3 picks or mortgage some of next year's picks. Way too price...

WalterFootball Mock Draft 4/22 Update - tdevil1
New Orleans Saints: Shane Ray, DE/OLB The Saints need to draft the best defensive player available to fortify their putrid stop unit. In this mock draft scenario, that would be Shane Ray, who would project as a big upgrade at outside linebacker. I had Ray going to the Jets in the past...
That wouldn't even be a remote surprise. If he's there and guys like Gregory are gone, its a no-brainer.
Fair enough...wouldnt be a huge surprise but i havent read too many posts here or seen a ton of mocks saying "you know who the saints really want...danny shelton"...
