Also, I didn't realize Unger was out the last 6 games of the season. Anyone concerned about that? I don't know the nature of the injuries... knee and ankle? That doesn't sound great for a guy whose job depends on leverage.

This Unger guy gets hurt alot. I doubt that changes in NOLA

Really just last year and it was a high ankle sprain.

I don't think it is a reason for lasting concern. High ankle sprains just need rest, something that is hard to get during the season.

they didn't do enough for the OL

Maybe this is the precursor to a shoring up of the O-Line. Goodwin gone, Graham gone, PT gone. It is actually looking like that the Saints are moving more towards a power run game with a high percentage pass receiving corps....Think about it, they keep Colston and Ingram along with Watson and Hill.

OK thanks, article wasn't specific about the injury. The "knee" comment worried me more than the ankle frankly.

Where did Mortensen report this? It was not on his twitter.

I've read a couple places they were 6-0 without Unger... I guess I could go look at their schedule, but I'm too lazy.

8-2 without and 6-3 with him (including playoffs) haha. They did finish 6-0 to end the season without him but he started all games in the playoffs and Super Bowl.

And they won the Super Bowl the year before haha. So theres that.
