No NFL team has ever had in the same game, the following, and still lost:
3 take aways
0 turnovers
0 TDs against their D.
Congrats to Coach Payton and the Saints!
Man, its going to be a long arse season.

Really wanted to watch the game, but my lil dude wasn't feeling well.

Glad we took a nap instead

Even though the score was always close, it was just a weird frustrating game. Other than the 1 drive that resulted in the TD, the Saints O just looked lost.

O-line couldn't run-block worth a damn, spags' defense was ready for our screens and stopped them with ease, and Brees kept going to Fleener who couldn't catch hypothermia if he was skinny dipping in the Bearing Straight.

I'm still just puzzled about the Spiller release. Cadet is horrible - that drop on the 3rd down pass in the 4th Q was a killer. And, they don't activate Murphy today. Hey, I get Spiller was overpaid, but now he's paid to go work elsewhere and there's no way he couldn't have contributed more today than Cadet/Murphy.

They actually ran block well but refused to run the ball.

The run defense has been good all preseason and regular season. ( besides the 1 long raiders run)

I think the Spiller release is nothing more than Payton getting frustrated because he was never going to be the player that he thought he was getting. Cadet is never going to expected to be Spiller and Payton understands that in his mind. I think so of you that teach or coach might understand that.

The saints offense today looked like me having a bad game in madden (except I usually throw about 4 INTs when I lose)

Couldn't get shite going... very frustrating today...

Oh well, I feel like today was the floor for our offense, so if the defense can be half as good as they were today, we will be alright

ETA: +1 on cadet.. never liked him.. he's just so bland and I still don't think I've ever seen him break a tackle

I don't get Cadet. There's a lot of guys who can drop passes that should go for 8-10 yard gains

I was super busy yesterday afternoon and kept waiting for an opportunity to turn the game on. Twitter and this place made me glad I had something else to do.

You can't blame this loss on the defense.

They played exceptional.

Final drive? It shouldn't have come down to that. Brees and Co. should have wrapped it up and put a bow on it before that drive took place.
