Newsflash: Saints still know nothing about the run game. Cutting a fullback is pretty moot at this point.

agreed - with our D, were gonna be behind too much to be able to run.

So Kuhn was the problem?

Kind of wish we would trade one of our RB's at this point... for either a draft pick, O-Line, or defense.

No point in having 3 legit options back there if we can't get them all touches. Other positions can use an upgrade.

Na. We'll just probably see Hooman in the backfield or a 6th O-Lineman in the game.

I assume CSP thinks he can get similar results without Kuhn. Not saying the results have been good or anything.

He's already been cut once this year. It's strategery. They're not gonna cut a rookie that somebody will snag 5 minutes later. Who's gonna fight to claim a 30+ player at a position half the league doesn't even use anymore?

With how little we run because we get behind early he is really a waste of a roster spot. Shouldn't be but that's the state of things.

Whats worrisome is that CSP has had all off season and camp to work on a game plan for the teams offense. You start the year with a veteran FB as a part of that plan. You start game #3 with no FB's on your roster at all.

Good luck team going forward

Can't even claim a player that long in the league. He would have to agree to go elsewhere.

There really isn't anyone else we can cut. DeVante Harris sucks, but Lattimore & Sterling Moore are banged up. Bryce Harris sucks, but Armstead & Strief are hurt. Edmunds & Banjo play a ton of special teams. They also seem to need all the recent depth signings on the D-Line.

The only 2 other real options are to cut Taysom Hill or Austin Carr, & hope that nobody claims them. Kuhn was the only safe cut available right now.

it seems like kuhn gets cut and resigned 3 or 4 times every year when they have injuries and need to bring people in.

i would imagine its a pre arranged thing he wont sign with another team as long as they commit to keeping him on the roster getting a paycheck for most of the year

plus payton likes to reward him with a chance for a touchdown pass a few games a year if he can

He plays a ton of special teams. He & Banjo aren't going anywhere.

Kuhn was pretty worthless to us. Not surprised.
