I wanted to get the boards feeling on some issues:
1) Should we keep Rob Ryan as DC?

2) Should we resign Mark Ingram?

3) Do you think the team cuts Evans? (No qualifying with salary restructure, etc. Yes or No)

I don't know how to answer this. It's up to Ingram and how much he'll agree to get paid here.

-Keep Ryan
-let Ingram walk (unless he's really cheap)
-cut Evans
-cut Colston unless he drops base salary to ~$3m
-keep Grubbs (need to have SOME continuity on OL, he's better than Evans right now)
-Byrd was the only really big signing of that lot. The others were mid tier, at least cost wise (maybe Grubbs was fringe mid/upper). Butler was really cheap. They'll get another mid-range guy like Lewis/Lofton, probably at CB, maybe OG/C. Awful center FA class, though.

The first two are should we's and the rest are do we's so I'll answer both ways for all questions.
Ryan Stays?
Yes we should and will.
Resign Ingram?
Yes we should and maybe we will(really depends on market value but they definitely want to; leaning we will).
Cut Evans?
Yes we should and maybe we won't(leaning towards no we won't because he'll restructure).
Cut Colston?
No we shouldn't and won't. He'll restructure. Next year is a different story.
Cut Grubbs?
No we shouldn't(too much turnover is bad; we'll already have a new center and Evans is more likely to go; I do want him gone but not at the cost of too much too quick) and won't. Don't think he even gets touched this year. Next year is a different story.
Big FA?
Yes we should and will. At least another CB. How "big" is another issue, but we'll get a starter.
Ryan Stays?
Yes we should and will.
