I think its going to be an OT.

It’s a really good OT class in terms of numbers. The Saints could trade back and still get a quality tackle. Lots of QB needy teams.

Cooper DeJean - Loss of maybe lattimore and Mathieu this offseason. Dejean can play anywhere. He's a more athletic Honey Badger that can still help on outside if needed.

Brock Bowers - Value at 14 spot, can have Juwan and Brock for time being while Carr continues to utilize the tight end weapons in this offense.

Nate Wiggins and Kool Aid McKinstry could be value CB picks too.

Brian Thomas Jr/Keon Coleman- love his size and athleticism.

Also, qb should be the first pick

I'm all for picking a QB in round 1, but at 14 I'd rather take a high caliber player at another position over a QB like Penix, McCarthy or Nix.

Williams, Maye and Daniels will all be gone.

I’d be fine with either of these. I’m just tired of seeing this time take and miss on OL and DL.

After Alt and Latham, OT is kind of thin.

Bowers or Coleman, Kool-Aid should be available.

We need desperate help on dline. Might be worth it to trade back and grab an extra 2nd or 3rd so we can address the d-line but we never trade back.

Missing on Turer, Penning, and Bresee really hamstrings us. If two of those hit, we would have more flexibility.

Best lineman on the board, either side, but I would prefer offensive line

OL is an absolute necessity. When Andrus Peat, who to his credit had to switch positions during the season, was your second best lineman, it’s a major problem.

One of these three is not like the others.

Some of yalls expectations on rookies is way too high

Turner will be back in camp one more year to try and make the team. When he's played in camp and in the few games he was upright he looks like he can play in the nfl. But your first three years in the league all injured gives you a very slim opening to succeed. Another injury before or during camp will end it with the Saints.

Penning has not played enough for me to say he cannot make it anywhere along the Oline.

Bresee looks to be a solid pick.

When Andrus Peat

I was always one of the ring leaders bagging on Peat. But he played well this year. He was probably the second best lineman we had behind McCoy (since Ram was mostly hurt.)

We can argue about the draft capital to take him. But he’s turned into a solid pro when he actually plays. He’s going to have a 10 year career in the league. That’s a lot better than 60-70% of other first round picks that year, hell most years.

I think some of yalls expectations on rookies is often way too low. Yall act like everyone we draft needs 3+ years to develop when other teams grab guys that contribute and shine immediately. We have just sucked at drafting for a while now.

I see a lot of folks pushing Latham but does it not bother anyone that Bama played a true freshman that struggled mightily at LT rather than moving Latham there? He is not near the prospect Evan Neal was and look at his struggles in the NFL. Not excited to take him at 14. Now that I’ve said that he’ll be HOF player.

I have mixed feelings. One way or another, Carr ain't the future

Saban saw something in the freshman, and Latham was already dominant at RT. Why break 2 guys into new positions, esp. if you see one as a long-term solution at LT

I didn’t watch much Saints football this year but I can tell you that Breese was definitely not a player that has hamstrung the Saints.
