That is not too surprising I guess. Needed a LB ST replacement.

I guess the KRob workout didn't go well being that we called up Lasco.

Hoping Lasco finds a place on the roster.

If he's as good on special teams as he was last year, then I assume he will. He's just 1 injury away from getting some carries at RB. I assume the coaches trust him in pass blocking more than Edmunds.
Hopefully Lasco's demotion to the PS lit a fire in him. He's shown flashes of good play, but he's never been consistent.

Adam Bighill > Michael Mauti

Probably. I'm sure his pass blocking & receiving skills were lacking. Combine that with the knee injury & I guess they decided to go with Lasco instead.
It did take us about a week after Hodges workout to sign him, so I guess that could be the case with Khiry as well. I doubt it though.

The coaches don't think so. Neither of them should be in the game as a LB. Whoever is better on special teams will get the roster spot. Apparently the staff likes Mauti more.
Bighill looked like a better LB in the preseason & probably is a better LB, but that really doesn't matter.
I assume we're just waiting on Hodges to pick up the defense & have him as our 4th LB. Hopefully Hodges works out, b/c having just legit 3 LB's is a little scary. We can get by with just 3 LB's, but if one of those guys get hurt...we can't use 3 LB's without having a gaping hole in the defense.

Good assessment Money, I agree, Before getting injured last year I felt he was a PT type player both getting the hard yards and running through the tackles.

I think they want a late inning hammer.
Hope they get it.
