Just getting some scouting done so we know what we're in for when Atlanta drafts him

Loomis is out here playing 3d chess with those birds

I don't believe in the whole "He's a top 15-30 guy not a 1-15 guy" thing. The NFL Draft is not an exact science, and the scouts are not that precise and accurate.

I you think a guy can play and he's at a position of need, then draft him. Don't worry about whether he should be drafted at 20 and not 15. That's a bunch of silliness and hogwash.

We put too many expectations on the first 10 to 15 picks. The majority are not nearly as good as all the talking heads think they are.

The meeting was probably just to tell White that it's a shame he went to LSU and that there are teams in the league that would love to have him but the Saints are not one of them.

Because only one of them can cover a no. 1 receiver without falling down or committing a penalty.

didnt you hear, Tre White is a late 1st early 2nd round pick simply because someone read a mock draft by some wanna-be hack before the SR measurements or combine exercises

frick i love this board

one quality starter in Breaux

i'd keep Sterling as our nickel or dime, depending on how PJ comes back from injury... Swann, at this point, seems like a wild card.... Crawley showed some flashes, and maybe can improve enough to warrant a spot, but he shouldn't be counted on to give you a lot of snaps, or god forbid, a start...

so basically:
Breaux
TBA
Moore
Williams
Swann/Crawley

but like someone else said even though we have a bunch of young CBs on our roster doesn't mean that they SHOULD be there.... that was more out of necessity because of injury and lack of quality drafting at the position....

Tre does not fall to the second. I've seen NFL.com draft analysis have him as being taken at 13.

That being said, if the saints really want him see about trading back a few picks for another third or fourth and take him in upper teens.

I like White...just not at #11. If we traded back...I'd be all for it.

It's not even White. I don't want any CB at pick #11 unless we use free agency to completely solidify our front 7.

Because 12 of them shouldn't be on a roster, 2 of them have been hurt since we drafted them two years ago, 2 more were signed after week 1, and our best Corner has only played in the NFL for 1.5 seasons lol

I wouldn't go White in Rd.1, I'd go DL/LB. If he falls to 2nd, I'd probably trade up a few spots and pull the trigger

Also just saw that he will miss the Sr. Bowl. We shouldn't draft him. If he's hurt now, our medical staff will never get him on the field when we get a hold of him
