Oh you...wasn't Brees's best game, but could you please check out his season so far?

Yea, that was a bad game for Brees' standards. He had a 108.9 passer rating going into the Lions game & he now has a 103.2 passer rating. Still a top 5 QB.
Brees is the least of my concerns going forward.

Can I be honest with y'all? I'm really scared to be as optimistic as I am about this defense. I'm just praying that at some point the mask doesn't just come off and they start sucking again

Well we saw the talent and what the defense could be in preseason, and then Allen went completely away from that week one, and got completely outschemed week two (along with some gross decisions like playing Harris and putting Vaccaro deep both weeks).

If you can win games with your QB throwing for 225 yards by an average of three TD's and your running game increasing to over 125 yards each week, your offense is just fine. It's nice to have a game where you defense is scoring points or creating a short field for you
