For Watt, no. For Cushing, yes I'd be pissed.

Watt alone would demand 2 1st rounders. Cushing is a great player, but he's way too injury prone for a MLB (more like reckless).

No surprise, but source says there's a heavy amount of interest in Saints safety Darren Sproles via a potential trade

There are multiple options out there apparently. Lookin good for us

Especially for the Texans 3rd when it's one pick away from the 2nd round.

I feel like some magic brewing...

Obviously he doesn't have a proof reader

Getting the Texans 3rd is virtually a 2nd. The value of that pick I imagine would be somewhat higher than Sproles & 4th.

I hope I'm wrong, but that is a pipe dream guys. I mean we were on the verge of flat out releasing him 2 days ago. I think we get something for him but not that kind of haul.

Looks like Baltimore may also be interested

The report by @RavensInsider that the Ravens are interested in Sproles trade makes sense. BALT has 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 6th rd picks in '14 draft

And fricking Jazzy Jeff with his pessimistic arse attitude

@JeffDuncan My guess is a conditional low-round draft pick will be the compensation for Sproles. Real value is cap savings, controlling his landing spot

A shame we could not bring Sproles back at a reduced salary. The intense interest in him confirms that most feel he still has a lot of value.

Yeah, but he is probably right. It is widely known that we are going to release him if we cannot trade him. That does not help our leverage.

I think we end up with a fifth. Can't complain about that.

As much as I hate agreeing with Duncan, that looks pretty accurate to me. I'm expecting a 6th (what Baltimore got for Anquan last year), and but hoping for a 4th (what we got for Ivory).

While that may be true, there's apparently a ton of interest, so clearly we can trade him. And those teams might not want to have to fight with that many other teams when they can just give up a pick. If both the Texans and Ravens are interested, that could raise the price up. Not to mention, Loomis could very well be sending a pick with him to try and get another higher one, like a 4th and Sproles for a 3rd, or a 5th and him for a 4th.

Really wish there was more news on that this AM

Schefter just reiterated on the Herd that there's "tons of interest."

Really hope Loomis turns this into a good opportunity.

doesn't really impact it if there are 10 teams competing against each other
