It means anything close to this stupid arse contract for a 37 year old qb is about what I'd expect from the Saints front office. They've put their eggs in his wagon and they can't quit him. They are going to ride him and this franchise into the ground in the next 3 or 4 years and they won't sniff another championship.

As expensive as that is, do you really trust this organization to mount a proper and timely rebuild p(3-4 seasons)? That's provided we get a #1 pick at some point for a QB. It may be more like ten. We're honestly safer with Brees and doing everything we can to secure O-Line through draft and FA to go along with Ramczyk. Anything is an upgrade to what we have, and Brees is still playing at a high level.
