I think you're gonna be surprised... not saying you can't be successful, but 75-85% over the longhaul is a pipedream. You're talking worldwide recognition.

That being said, I've thought about starting a weekly odds thread for peej to pick his "locks" just to see how much money could be won off his stupid unlucky arse.

"broke" is when you don't have money for these things.

I get what you're saying but I wouldn't be saying I'm "broke" if I had a grand to lay down on a bet.

But whatever.

-110, that's how much you need to bet to win $100.

+110, that's how much you win when you bet $100.

If it helps, sporting sites have decimals, which imo are easier to play with.

you all fail to ask the guy how many games he bets on in the first place. if he only bets 4-6 games a year thats not hard to believe. now if he bets over 20 yea thats a long shot/lie

If it's more than one year, he isn't going to hit that percentage. If he has only ever made 6 bets, and won 4 of them ya sure, that can happen. But since he claims to be good at picking stocks and games one would assume that means over a statistically meaningful sample.

it doesn't matter to me

no bettor out there has ever been that high during an entire career

he'd have his own website, followers, etc...making money off of that just as much as the actual betting...probably way more

then thats my fault for not clarifying myself.

When I said I usually dont bet...I was implying I dont do it every weekend. When I said I pick my spots like Floyd it was a joke in that he only boxes 1-2 times a year...I bet money probably 4-6 times a year.

I then later clarified that 85% was a bit high as far as an estimation on my part but that I do usually win about 75% of the time.

Professional betters on average bet anywhere from 3 games to every single game a week...their odds would be lower.

lot of assumptions on your part

broke = spending money

Savings = dont touch money

Stocks = sit/watch/research money

most free trade websites require 25K min at all times to retain free trading rights...im not there yet but I do leave my money that is invested in stocks to sit and move it when I see something i like more

im currently going to school and working a job on the side...funds arent as good as they were when i was in the military.

I am now paying for things I didnt have to before. Food, Rent, Health Insurance etc.

Broke to me isn't apparently broke to the majority of you...and that is fine however on a potential double down bet that I like the odds on to not be able to put up more than a $1,000 makes me feel poor.

When did a $1000 become a lot of money...for a lot of people that is 1 months rent...not exactly baller status

If you're so good at betting you'd realize this would be a bad bet anyway; given Atlanta and Carolina's current records, Atlanta already beat us once, all 3 teams general quality of play would at best make any of the 3 as likely to win the division as the other would make the saints a 1 in 3 chance to win the division; technically there's also a small percentage chance that Tampa could win too; and you think essentially even money is a good bet?

Unless you're making 6 figures (and even then after tax), I don't expect someone to say "LOLOL I'm broke, lets slap a g".

Broke would be living pay-check to pay-check or a minimal amount of leftover after your monthly income is used to pay bills.

But sure, you and your badass 85% self should make a living off of it. frick school, your 85% could make you a millionaire by the end of the year.

Edit:
If you feel so confident, bet the $1000, and take a screen shot of it and post it here. Put your money where your mouth is.
