Also has Carl Lawson in the first round. Clearly a bit unrealistic

A'shawn Robinson can play DT in the 4-3 or NG and DE in the 3-4. Despite his huge size he's very quick and athletic. Strength wise he's up there with Aaron Donald.

All realistic mocks are highly inaccurate at this point

You want the #1 passing attack in the league, but the #32 defense in the league, to draft a WR in the first two rounds?
Cooks, Snead, and Coleman are a solid corp to build around and wouldn't be surprised to see us nab a guy in FA.
Uh yeah. Our passing attack is the cornerstone of the franchise's success, and it's not like it never had issues this year in moving the ball efficiently at times (Texans, Cardinals, Bucs Game 1, Skins). The stat about being the best passing attack is also somewhat inflated since Rodgers had a comparatively shitty year, Romo was hurt, and we were a 7-9 team often playing behind due to an atrocious defense. We also weren't very good in the red zone because we missed a true red zone target-- we were 11th and 13th in TDs from inside the 20 and 10 respectively this year. Of course we were still very good, but the passing game was inconsistent this year. OL issues obviously did not help, so I won't disregard that entirely.
There is a severe dearth of a #1 receiving threat, and it would be a risk try to address in FA or table it to next year's draft. We need to continue to allow it to be a core competency in Brees' sunset years. Having a Pro Bowl fringe WR is going to be immensely important in taking pressure off Brees and for the transition to his successor. If Treadwell is available, I say we get him and forget about offense for the remainder of 2016 and for 2017 draft (outside of guard and TE next year possibly).
If not, sure get A'Shawn or Buckner, or trade down and get Doctson for cheap. I'm torn on this issue since I think we really need to bolster our pass rush, but there's definitely an argument to be made for getting a WR early.

I would take A'Shawn in a heartbeat. He could be our nose tackle in a 4-3 or 3-4 and would finally give Cam Jordan some much needed help in the trenches.

People also forget, the reason why we have amassed so many yards is because we played catch up or shootout way too many times and didn't win too many of those.
#2 in yards
#8 in points
Defense sucked, is a huge priority moving forward, but consistency in the offense, OL protection and consistently moving chains, shouldn't be neglected either.

That close to taking Myles Jack...that would suck.

I agree, jack is a monster, I don't know his true position but my god he is a freak athlete with ridiculous instincts.

I would rather Ragland tbh

I agree to an extent
We seemed to move the ball well in every game except for the Texans and Eagles, only to have a sack or run blown up costing us more points. Still led the NFL in 3rd down % again
shite has to change. Our offense can carry the D. I'm starting to think coleman can be a #3 receiver with size, so maybe all we need is a burner which can be found later.
Guards are needed.

I see us picking a mid round G to be a successor To Evans and then looking for a FA to fill the LG spot.
I hope this is the case. We can most likely do fine with Armstead-Vet FA-Unger-Rookie/Evans/Lelito-Peat, but I'd hate to have to rely on a combination of two rookies, Evans, or Lelito at Guard again. A Vet FA Guard is a must, IMO.

We are talking about the same guy who was pissed that the Cowboys took Zack Martin over Manziel in the 1st. You can't put anything past him.

Whether we got the passing stats in "garbage time" or not, you're still the #1 damn passing team in the league. You can clearly hold status quo there considering your defense is absolutely horrible and injury plagued right now.
Now I'm not saying ignore the o-line. The G spots to me need to be a very high priority in addressing in the offseason. But besides maybe adding another cheaper vet TE/WR, you're fine with skill players. Brees is the offense.

Robinson will be a solid DT in the league, I also would rather a high impact defender in the first. No matter what though....WE NEED HELP ALONG THE FRONT SEVEN!!!!!
Our biggest needs right now are in the trenches on offense and defense. Obviously with defense being the most glaring. The focus in the first round should be on an impact DT or pass rusher.
If that is not available, the ideal would be to trade down.....but if not, I would target the best G or T available and shift Peat as such.
If there are no impact OL left, a TOTAL PACKAGE OLB would be a great get for the front seven. WE DO NOT NEED ANYMORE PROJECTS!
I keep seeing these posts about how we desperately need a WR in the first. We have entirely too many needs in the trenches to justify taking a WR in the first.....unless he is a "cant miss" Calvin Johnson/Julio Jones type of WR.
IMHO the front seven is the immediate are of concern, followed by the OL. We need to hit on impact players in those areas of need early in the draft. Everything else is secondary.

Odell and Moss weren't can't miss prospects. Those teams damn sure wish they didn't miss now.
If Treadwell is there you pick him, from that point we will finally have a great receiver on the team. He and Snead are two great young players we can go far with.
