It blows my mind that everyone's such a Steve Spagnuolo apologist on this board. Am I the only one who sees where our 13-3 team is at right now? I know Payton's not here, and that hurts, but the only reason it hurts so much is that without a flawless electrifying offense, the Saints don't stand a chance of winning more than half their games.

Jets D roster ha been getting injured from top to bottom this whole(Did I spell it right?) season, starting with Revis going down for the year in game 2.

Would you take any of the Saints starters over the Jets defensive starters? Will Smith? Roman Harper? Patrick Robinson? Ellis? Jordan? Jenkins? Maybe Lofton. Maybe Greer. That's about it.

Which exactly shows how loaded they are with talent on that side of the ball. #MINDBLOWN

God you're dumb. So dumb. These are NFL athletes. The cream of the cream of the crop. There is NO excuse when fielding NFL talent that your defense should allow 433 yds/game, when the next worse team average being 394.. IT's pitiful

And this is different from last year.........how? Spags has had to work magic with the garbage personnel we've had on defense. You have to give the man time to figure out what to keep, what to trash, and what to bring in.

Our passing completion % is down nearly 9% as well as yards per attempt down about 9%. Our turnovers are already plus 4 from last year with 2 games left. Our rushing yards per attempt is down. Our offense has been quite the problem much of the year as well. Its been a difficult year on BOTH sides of the ball, neither helped each other out overly much for much of the season. Our team this year is averaging nearly a whole TD less than lass year.

Because the Saints weren't the run away defense by a mile last year? Not even close. Offense can't do enough when we allow as many yards as we do

Our Saints D already has more tackles this year than last year, you clearly don't know shite now.

When the defense is allowing TD after TD it puts A LITTLE bit of pressure on Drew and the offense to produce. Can't set the tone with the rushing game = More passes = greater chance for incompletions = lower passer %

Chad pointed out very clearly that our offense has gotten worse this year as well. With all the crap this team has gone through, to expect any improvements from last year was just silly. We need a chief.

Kind of difficult for the D when the offense can't get a 1st down for a quarter and a half.
