Let's face it, this dude's getting canned at the end of the year. He's an awful head coach, but one of the leagues best defensive minds. What do you think would be the better option: Wait and see if Spags can surround himself with the talent necessary to maybe make this struggling defense work, or go after Ryan in the off-season and cut our loses?

Brees isn't getting any younger, so I think the focus on D needs to be getting the right personnel together on that side of the ball in the most effective and efficient manner so that we can make a few more SB runs while Drew is at his prime.

I think that getting Rex Ryan would be the second coming of Greg Williams. It seems to me that their defensive philosophies are similar.

Pitching a shut out against what everyone already knew was an overratted Bucs team doesn't make up for the countless missed tackles, blow coverage's, soft pressure b.s. that dug us into this whole in the first place. We're still the worst D in the league as of right now

It might not change anything. Spags has us dead last in total yards allowed. Are we banking on this year just being a fluke because the talent isn't there? NO.. there's too much league parity for us to be the first worst with no close second. I sincerely doubt that a draft and an offseason is going to lead to any significant boost in D production.

I'd rather us take a chance on a new coordinator. We, literally, cannot do any worse.

If you still correct grammar on a fast paced forum, it just means that you have no viable insight.

Jets D roster ha been getting injured from top to bottom this whole(Did I spell it right?) season, starting with Revis going down for the year in game 2.

Jets are still ranked 8

Which exactly shows how loaded they are with talent on that side of the ball. #MINDBLOWN
