So you think Brees thinks the Seahawks are better or the saints, which team?

I think it is foolish to claim to be better team after an arse whooping.

That's the point. He can think whatever he wants, it is just stupid to run his mouth after he put in a terrible performance

Why? We're back to saying it's ok to think it, it's harmless to say it, but you shouldn't say it. Not sure how that sounds logical.

that isn't what I said at all actually. No one gives a frick what he thinks, but he should be intelligent enough to take responsibility and not hide his head in the sand after a bad performance. It shows a lack of intelligence and maturity.

His quote is just plain stupid after a blowout loss on the road against a team that you play again in 2 weeks. Why throw out any motivation? He should have been talking about improvement rather than making excuses and defending

I think it is more a reflection of his coach's attitude

quote:

"Are they better than us? No. But today, it showed the name of the game is scoring more points than the other team. Those guys did, and we just got the short end of the stick."

just a dumb statement. "short end of the stick" implies a close game. No mention of improvement or fixing things. Just a terrible mindset IMO.

Then again, their coach just chalked it up to playing in the dome

To the guy that made the Kobe comparison...

It's one thing when you're one of the best in the history of the game. Cam is a shitty QB who acts like he's as good as guys like Brees and Brady. It's a complete joke. I wonder if he's ever heard the word "humility" in his life.

The fall back to reality was a long and painful one for him. I don't ever see him outplaying Brees in a meaningful game. He's at his best when his defense is getting stops and the running game is going. He's not the type of QB to go outside of his comfort zone to win a game

and that's my exact point.

Do it before you win titles, say a bunch of bad things.

Do the same exact thing after you win titles, it shows heart passion, confidence.

No, it's exactly the same.

So when Kobe does it, he is showing humility? I don't even follow the logic at all here.

Because you have to earn respect in life? Not just act like you deserve it for no reason. For the record, I'm not a huge Kobe fan, but his years of work and success make me cut him some slack.

For Cam to act like he's entitled to respect without having to earn it makes me think he's an immature POS. Which most people outside of the Auburn fanboy apolologists and Panthers fans see him as.

For those that forget, before a monday night game with green bay a few years ago, in an interview, brees said, "when at my best, im better than them at their best"

Im sure that wouldve been chalked up to being a competitor from our fans.

I don't remember the comment though

There will be 37 different excuses why it's OK for Brees to say that.

I but if Cam said it, this board would meltdown.

Brees can actually back that shite up. Cam is a glorified wildcat QB.

Well if Jordan Jefferson is running his mouth, he is going to get a lot more hate than Mett/Murray/college Cam, etc.

That's irrelevant to what we're talking about IMO.

If 2 guys say something, you can't say 1 guy is stupid and immature and all of the other silly things about 1 guy, and then say the other guy is just extremely confident.

Nice try, deceptive little ploy even though you know with 100% certainty what I said was true, and you wouldn't even try to dispute it.

One said that he thought his best was better than the other teams best pre-game. Cam said he thought they were better post game after a beat down. I don't really care. It doesn't bother me, but there is a difference between the two.

Oh come off of it. Your statement is just as big as a ploy as his. It's conjecture. 100% certainty my arse.
