If you check you see link was done 14 hours ago.Late last night after 10 pm Saints have come to terms with Bobby Richardson. However may now be 13 as a good site has them coming to terms with Texas A%M WR-Macolme Kennedy 5-11.3/207 with 4.52 speed.

We only had 11 roster spots. Some guys being said to have signed are actually only tryout players.

The only way we can sign more than 11 is if we released someone currently on the roster.

It's also possible we pull someone who was going to sign for someone else.

Bottom line is unless someone was released(very rare) 11 is the number. That's why they wait before announcing the list because things change. That link could very well be inaccurate but the number should be right.

Richardson deal done at almost 11-pm last night check nola link an adv. links-local news paper links.247 link has Kennedy inking deal very late last night just before midnight. If they over 90 limit they will cut some one. However until the drafted players sign i am not sure if the 9 picks count against the camp 90 player roster NFL roster limit.True rounds 4-7 sign very quickly on average but the for now limit may be 94 or 95 planing on 4 to 5 draft picks sign very quickly.

So Peat would back up Strief temporarily unless he just blows him out of the water then?

I really don't see him as an instant starter by any means.

He will probably be utilized as an additional blocker in 3-and-short or goal line situations, or as your first option off the bench for either tackle spot, but I would imagine that they will bring him along slowly with the intent of eventually moving Armstead to RT and plugging Peat in at LT.

I would think Collins would be an immediate starter at G.

I don't know about that, but if he develops, Evans is expendable/trade bait in another year.

I don't care what the grades say on pff. They eye ball test every single game says strief sucks. Watch the games

We all watch the games, dude.

You're in the vast minority.

Dude what's with this Armstead being benched nonsense? He wasn't spectacular last season but he's shown ridiculous potential.

I agree, Melvin. Kind of why I figured him and Peat are the bookends but maybe not just yet with strief. I feel like he doesn't have much left but he's still good.

Small correction we only signed 11 guys:
That list leaves out DL Bobby Richardson from Indiana. His agent says Richardson signed with the Saints.

Peat's body type has RT written all over him. He definitely can move better than most tackles I've seen that have similar builds though. I always wondered how Streif would play at guard, hell I thought he would be moved there after his first few games starting after Sticthcomb went down. The fact is if Collins comes here, there will be a veteran released or traded within the next two seasons. The though of Peat, Collins, and Armstead playing to their potential on the same O-line would be mind boggling.

Lael would start at guard. He would be a beast at guard for the Saints too

Even Grubbs was a pro bowler last season with Brees. LaEl would be a potential pro bowler guard since the track record is there with the Saints and Brees. This will only further his next big pay day
