Anyone discounting the Williams pick should be waterboarded.

He will be an absolute stud in this league.

Bank on that. Our secondary just got much better with he and Lattimore.

I believe Hendrickson is going to be one of the steals of the draft in the end. Hard-nose kid who will play similar to Ninkovich of the Patriots.

The same Ninkovich Payton cut?

So we grade drafts more on needs than players actually taken? That's a horrible way to look at it and not how most teams go about it.

You look for good players first and then look at the fit and need. You don't go in looking need first. That's when you reach and end up with a shitty roster.

Also fricking ridiculous when people say we ignored defense when 5 of 7 were defense.

Do we ignore the online like in the past and let it go to shite again? Do we never take skill players and let them all get old again?

Come the frick on with that shite.

cool your fricking jets internet ninja.... I was refuting the claim that most grades were an A... as the evidence provided shows, that is decidedly not the case... I wasn't saying anything about the draft, or offering any commentary as to what I personally think of it... he said most grades were an A, I was proving the statement wrong... that's all... get off your fricking high horse, Mr. apologist

And I was saying it's fricking stupid when people grade off of need first. So frick any grade that does. Those go in the trash.

It wasn't some attack on you. It was an attack on stupid thinking.

then in the future you may want to preface your statements if not intended towards a person... you were responding to my post, and if you re-read your post, it comes across very antagonistic... don't get shite twisted... this place is very small in terms of connections... you may want to simmer down before you piss off (not me, per se) the wrong person

Even the other defensive picks weren't great. Marcus Williams is athletic, but deemed soft by other teams.

What other teams?

sounds like he's making shite up as he goes along.

look, I still visit his page some but Walter can be a huge fricking idiot and a try hard with some of these baseless comments.

I thought this draft was good.

I really don't know how I feel about trading away next years 2nd round pick for Kamara but my guess is he'll get enough touches this year to matter.

Sure as hell hope so.

The window has a small gap in it. We are in win now mode. Kamara helps us today instead of waiting next year to find a satellite back.

Sounds to me that our draft would have been an "A" if the Saints would have used the 32nd pick on Foster or another DE or LB.
Prisco is as confused as I am about why we chose Ramcyzk. Got extremely lucky for Lattimore to fall to 11 and then Loomis herps and deeps.

Most draft grades I've seen has up at an A also.

Where are the links to all these "A" grade outs that y'all are seeing? I haven't seen one yet! The majority of grades have us anywhere from B to C-

We got great value in this draft while filling needed positions. No one should hate this draft at all.

The worst grade I saw us getting was from Yahoo Sports (I think). I think they gave us a "C" (off the charts stupid).

Casserly said when he looks at drafts first and foremost you look at value, and by far we had the best draft there so he gave us most improved team.

And to top that off we hit every target we were looking for (even doubling up on rush end) except QB.

So not only did we get the best value, we also hit on all of our needs outside of future franchise QB (but how many teams are still looking for that?).

Anyone bitching we didn't reach for a DE, yet still got one third round which is still high, doesn't understand how drafting should work.
