Pretty sure Saints are drafting an LSU Tiger this year.

My money is on Malachi.

Saints have showed continued steady interest in this local kid. John Curtis Product, had some good athletic numbers at pro day today.

I just dont see it. He's too similar to Mike Thomas. I could see us taking Dural before Chi.

(I know Dural ran slower...but he plays faster)

Dupre's career at LSU was pretty underwhelming.

pretty much followed suit of our quarterback play but yes you are not wrong. I think Dupre is a decent talent that can become a good 3 or 4 with a bit of development. He'd be working with Curtis Johnson etc... nice little athletic project.

Yeah he should've stayed. He's just not an NFL ready wr yet to this point. Actually playing in a somewhat effective offense would help.

So he should have gone to Alabama?

No thanks...

Would like any of the other ones though (except Leonard because of where we'd have to pick him if he's even there).

Malachi would be a good pick if someone can keep him motivated. Dude didn't give a frick in a couple games this season.

It's hard for a WR to show out in a Les Miles offense. Even a guy like OBj wasn't fully maximized, and he got to play with a marginally better QB in Mett

Dupre had the luxury of playing with Anthony Jennins (49% comp), Harris (54% comp) and Ettling (60% comp) his three seasons A running team with limited opportunities paired with inaccurate QBs did not do him any favors

Dupre could be decent with Brees and his 70% accuracy. Nice blend of size, speed, and athleticism

RE: Michael Thomas's season high in catches was 56, yardage high was 799. Dupre's was 43 and 698. Running teams with bad QBs, just member dat

His quarterbacks and offensive scheme sure showed him nothing.

to be fair:
College #s
3 years OBJ: 143 catches, 2340 yards, 12 TDs

3 years Dupre: 98 catches, 1609 yards, 14 TDs
-- his FR year was pretty lackluster. Last 2 years were more solid.

84 catches, 1291 yards, 9 TDs

And tbh tranny, what a WR does in college doesn't really matter to me when considering pairing them w Brees. Brees is going to do the heavy lifting

If Dupre falls to the 4th, he would be worth consideration I think
