But stats are skewed in such few snaps. He could go the rest of the year without a pressure.

I think we should give him more of a chance but the bigs on the DL deserve to be active over him and if he can't play special teams he won't be active over a guy like Humber.

Also the PFF scores have been looking weirder and weirder and are passing the eyeball test less and less.

And the penalty scores are still 100% absolute shite. Look at Browner's penalty score vs. Lewis. I think Browner's were both third down plays too but could be wrong.

Obviously.

But 10 snaps a game on obvious passing downs might a good start.

Kelemete played fine last week and Strief was getting beat. Kelemete wasn't playing against TB when Strief got raped. It wasn't Kelemete's fault last night when a pass rusher goes right around the edge on Strief.

That's why I said Strief hasn't been very good in the first part of my post. I know that and stated it.

Kelemete got beat badly last night over and over again. Brees was getting pressure from that right side very consistently and it was mainly Kelemete.

5-10 sure but first he has to prove himself worthy of being active. He won't beat out the bigs so he has to beat out Humber or Hawthorne (or a safety like Jones) to avoid the inactive list, and the Saints likely trust them too much more right now.

We don't see practice so we don't know how they are looking there.

Look at that play(s) again. If Kelemete had held up in the middle Drew could have stepped up in the pocket. But since Kelemete allowed pressure as well, Strief's guy got to Drew.

Yea thats a play 99% of the time drew steps up. Our OT's push the guys deep. On the replay I didn't see as much wrong with Zach on that play as I did the protection in the middle.

I hope our guards Lelito and Senio have a higher ceiling that they can reach this year.

So, can we talk about Kenny Vaccaro? How has he played so far? I feel like he's giving us average performances out there, but that's not how he played in his rookie season. I thought for sure he was going to stand out...I'm not saying I'm disappointed, but I'm wondering if he's being miscast in the defense or if he's just actually average. Or the best is yet to come.

He looks a hell of a lot better than he did last year.

This is cherry picking and I know that, but on the one play where Weeden hit Witten up the seam, Vaccaro got played. He bit on Witten's double move...Jason Witten...a big white guy.

Vaccaro?

How often do you notice him in pass defense? If rarely or not at all he is doing a great job covering.

How often do you notice him in run defense? If rarely or not at all that means our front seven is doing their job.

If you are noticing him is he giving up passing plays or missing tackles? If yes then he is doing poor. If no then he is doing great.

Honestly the only time I notice him is helping in run support on occasion and that's because the front seven is mostly taking care of business.

By "chemistry" I sure hope you meant 'on-the-field' chemistry.

The last time Vaccaro developed chemistry with another player he was traded to Miami.

Kikaha is making me feel stupid for spending 20 minutes cursing at the TV when he was our pick in the second round. 3 sacks in 4 games ... he was the steal of the draft.

That's a good stupid to have. The young guys look stout

Breaux and Lewis should be the starters for the rest of the season.

And play three games together in a row...as Saints...on defense...this year.
