Jonathan Stewart- nope; Ingram is a better all around back and Stewart is slowing down

Marshawn Lynch- maybe, but on the verge of being done while Ingram has years left; more of a question of are you looking long term or quick fix

Khiry Robinson- hahahaha nope; dude was Mr. Glass II here, just like Ivory before him but not nearly as good; he had that one amazing run and then was very hit and miss

Le'Veon Bell- obviously

Ryan Mathews- nope; Ingram does everything better than him

LeSean McCoy- yeah

Ezekiel Elliot- of course

Devonta Freeman- yeah

Chris Ivory- when he was in his prime; he's done now

Jamaal Charles- another guy like Ivory where injuries have likely done him in

So that's only 4 and then a maybe if you just want 1-2 years with Lynch or 5 years of Ingram.

I had the same experience in Little League. Teams were always stacking the box against me.

It's hard for most people to understand what guys like AP and me went through.

He's losing that starting spot this year you can bet on that. You homers cam love Ingbum all you want AD will be much more effective and SP will no choice, Ingram slow, Ap fast

I love it

Not sure why, but this made me laugh.

As far as Ingram & AP...I assume they go with the hot hand. Just like they did last year with Ingram & Hightower.

I see some people on here still don't like Ingram. He's still a top 10 back...just like he was last year. He's not great at anything, but he's above average at everything. If both Ingram & AP stay healthy...we might have the best 1-2 punch in the league to go along with Kamara as the receiving back.

If someone can think of 10 better RB's than Ingram...I'd love to see it. Hell, people failed to find 5 of them earlier in this thread.

Because I meant it to be humorous and absurd. You seem to be the only one who got that.

I mean, David Johnson could be the best RB in the league

If you did a RB redraft, Ingram wouldn't go in the top 15

I'm talking about for this season only. Most of those guys are either out of their prime or haven't reached their ceiling yet. Ingram doesn't have a lot of wear & tear on his body for his age. He's also in his prime right now.

I agree on David Johnson. You can include him in the players that are obviously better.

As a player, do you believe Ingram is better than these guys? He may be close to a few

In no order

1. Bell - nope
2. Johnson - nope
3. Zeke - nope
4. Freeman - nope
5. McCoy - nope
6. Todd Gurley - nope
7. Doug Martin - nope
8. Lamar Miller - nope
9. Demarco Murray - nope
10. Ajayi - nope
11. Jordan Howard - nope
12. Bilal Powell - nope
13. Tevin Coleman - nope

Then you got a large group of guys similar to Ingram - Melvin Gordon, Latavius Murray types. That's not even counting LF, Joe Mixon and the rookies.

David Johnson - obviously. He's easily the #1rb
Melvin Ingram - not a rb
Marshawn Lynch - not sure his trend.
Jordan Howard - lateral move. There was also a chart that showed he had the most yards gained before first contact. Better than Elliott
Isaiah Crowell - one year wonder
Ty Montgomery - not a true rb
Rob Kelley - no
Terrance West - nope
Johnathan Stewart/Christian McCaffrey - prefer Ingram, but prefer cm as a complement
Jeremy Hill - he's one dimensional and worse than Ingram.
CJ Anderson/Jamaal Charles - nope
Ameer Abdullah - nah
Lamar Miller - nope
Leonard Fournette - yeah higher ceiling
Frank Gore - age, nope
Spencer Ware - nope
Todd Gurley - nope
Jay Ajayi - lateral move
Latavius Murray - nope
James White - nope
Paul Perkins - nope
Matt Forte/Bilal Powell - nope
Ryan Mathews - Ingram is better and less injury prone
Carlos Hyde - nope
Eddie Lacy - can't lose weight
Doug Martin - not consistent with his health
DeMarco Murray - Yeah, he's pretty legit in all phases.

The top 5 are secure and locked.

Everyone else is a slight upgrade (Murray), lateral move at best (ajayi), worse (powell,Coleman, miller), or an unknown (gurley).

You rather trade Ingram who's been consistent for 3 years for someone like Martin who can't stay on the field either?

How about this. Ingram makes 4mil. Go look how much Martin makes.

You could make a case for him not being top 10, but I really don't see 15 guys that are better this year.

I never said anything about trading him

You're seriously gonna say Miller, Coleman, and Powell are better? Coleman can't even be an every down back. Miller sucks at catching, Powell has problems handling a large workload too.

Ayaji has better potential but currently he's a lateral move. Hes not a strong blocker either.

Gurley had one grand season and one very lackluster season. I love his potential, but I'm not risking it. Even at times his vision was questionable last year.

Powell and Coleman arent every down backs in the same sense Ingram isnt. Coleman has Freeman and Powell had Forte. Their production per touch numbers are elite. Miller is comparable to Ingram.. Ajayi is better. Again, check the tape

Gurley plays in the worst offense behind the worst offensive line. We are redrafting the RBs. not putting them on their current teams. It can be argued he's top 5 on talent

Yes to all of these except maybe Howard and Murray.

This offense is gonna be nasty. Like I could see us finishing with a top five passing and rushing offense, easily. Brees throws for 4500 yards, Thomas has 1300, Snead with 1000, Ingram with 1000, Peterson with 800, Kamara with 800 all-purpose.
