tOSU players

friendship with Meyer part of process, both come from winning program, prideful and successful, high grades on Thomas, strong hands, size, comfortable w/ball, Bell--not sure we would be able to get him, good ball skills, Payton called him in to get videotape of missing workouts, very comfortable playing the ball, zone pressures, locates the ball well

DT On Yo Mama

self-made guy, former walk-on, same agents he works with, did a ton of research after pro day, sub-rush, could play in base, prototype player

He didn't have shuttle times etc.

Bell texted him each one that he requested. Shows he's willing to work and do what it takes

Said that he didn't have numbers from him, that he didn't do a couple of the official workouts (shuttles, I think). Called him in and said he was interested but he didn't have numbers and he needed them to figure things out. He came back with videos of everything afterwards.

Sounds like he wanted a couple of guys who would put pressure on the QB to rush his throws and then have Bell hawk them and get them since Byrd isn't doing that.

Bell had double the INTs in 3 years that KV had in 4.

Bell also played much more true safety whereas Vaccaro played primarily nickel in college.

When you sit back in zone it is easier to get picks.

Vaccaro does makes plays on the ball though. He just often isn't in a position to intercept it.
