This guy just doesn’t get it. What is he going to say when the boos continue every time the players kneel?

That's not what he is saying. I don't have a problem with his interpretation of those events yesterday.

Yeah I agree. During the anthem I felt was disrespectful. I don’t really care about before or after. If they think kneeling is making changes I can’t fix stupid. Let them do their thing.

CSP isn't going to come out against his players, even if he personally felt different.

He has to work with them, get them to play for him, and he has to attract FAs.

He's going to be largely supportive of things like this to the media.

I wish this whole story would go away. The saints should have told the players there would be a moment of silence, likewise everyone booing during it should have stood and shut the hell up too. It was poor communication, poor decision making, and just a bad effort all around.

Hopefully everyone learns from it and we just focus on the good football the team is playing.

This is the main thing.

I can't believe some people booed during the moment of silence for a police officer shot in the line of duty.
That's the most disrespectful thing out of this whole story.

This was a real nonissue at the game. The whole thing start to finish took maybe 90-180 seconds. After that the anthem played the ball kicked off and no one cared about.

I don't think anybody has the room to complain about anybody else until they fix themselves. Like a woman who tells complete strangers how to take care of their children while her daughter got knocked up in high school.

Let's put your life under a microscope, value warrior, and let's see what we can find. I'm sure you're squeaky clean since you can bitch about what other people do during a song.

He is correct on that. I was there.

If you follow the timeline..

1) Players took a knee and the fans started booing.
2) The moment of silence started...I don't think the fans in attendance even heard the announcement over the boos.
3) The players stood back up for the anthem and received claps and cheers.

Well, I don't think you should judge my post until you fix yourself.

Correct

I was there, I did not boo, but I also did not hear an announcement about the moment of silence

Sadly you're correct. For some folks the wrong kind of people got out of line and they can kneel before the anthem, after the game, whenever. It'll always a problem until they fall back in line.

I’ll move on when the players stop their “protest”. I don’t want to see the team kneel under any circumstances before, during, or after the national anthem. It is offensive and I will no longer watch any game whenever this team sanctioned action takes place.

Doesn't actually care about the flag, anthem, troops, police. Just wants them back in line.

Bye dumbass. I could care less how the players choose to express themselves about any issue they care about. All I want to see is a good game with no injuries and a win.
