You lead with your crown on every tackle. Have you ever played football. It's a damn joke to think that if you lead with your shoulder your head isn't coming with it. Matter of inches the helment makes to the either side. Pussification of football.

Absolutely. I just think that if the OL and defense are good enough to make noise in the playoffs, Brees missing one game won't matter. If they're not, then who cares if we lose a game that Brees is injured for?

Not doing well, but if anyone deserves a break, it's the coaches. They're not going to show anything in preseason.
I just don't trust Payton at all, though. The one series where we were running the ball well, Payton went to shotgun in the redzone on all 3 downs. He's done that shite in the past. Inexcusable.
As for Allen and the D, he may just be seeing what players can do. If, say, Harris and PJ play well for a series or two in press/man, Allen could run some zone for a series or two to see how they hold up. Find out what they do poorly and try to fix it for the regular season.
