90% of the city of New Orleans was ready to hang Hayes in Jackson Square
Don't play dumb. Fuller had to get in front of a camera and make decisive huge statements in order to play the public perception game.
Thompson didn't. It was stupid. Smith was shot in the back multiple times. He should have had a press conference hammering that over and over and mentioning Mrs smith was healing in order to get back to her children. Making definitive statements was not wise on his part. I'm sorry they makes you mad. But every prosecuted that commented on the case said Thomson screwed up and did the DA zero favors

You are being all kinds of obtuse. No one painted Hayes in any light. The facts of the case were enough to elicit a murder 2 charge within 24 hours. That's why people were pissed- because Hayes shot an unarmed man and his wife over a hit and run and did it in front of several witnesses.
Fuller ran his mouth to put pressure on Cannizaro, but it didn't work. Now he has to defend his client in court.
Eta. To assume Thompson has damaged the DAs case is to assume his client is a liar. Which I'm sure you do, so Thompson's position is only in conflict with your fantasies.
Meanwhile, we already know Hayes lied to Fuller about the 911 call.

I love how some are buying Fuller's act and claiming it is perfectly legitimate, yet having Smith's attorney countering the smear campaign against his dead client that Fuller's client killed is irresponsible and somehow makes him a liar but not Fuller.

I think that's probably whAt happened because Hayes hasn't been charged with Raquel shooting.Now the shirtless man maybe could of done it also.

If the shirtless man is also a friend of the group the alleged cover up makes slightly more sense. I don't get why people would risk their own lives to protect wills image after death but if they are doing it to keep a friend out of jail it's a little easier to wrap the head around.

Shirtless man was in Smith car before incident.
Shirtless man friend or associate of Smith family.
Speculation: Shirtless man initiated conflict with Hayes.
Shirtless man had gun.
Shirtless man shot RS.
Question: If shirtless man had gun and witnessed Hayes shoot WS 8 times, why didn't he shoot Hayes when he stopped shooting instead of stalking around the scene highly agitated?

It isn't a fact that he was in Smith's car. He could have been in the lead car or even a crazy from off the street (though not likely).

maybe there is a reason her nickname is "rocky". we already know that is why smith pulled her out of the club by her hair, because she was starting a fight.
