Just saw a tweet from Sean Fazande saying that Hicks is now the only guy remaining from the 2012 draft class.

2012 Draft may go down as the worst draft ever.

So is the 2012 draft worse than the 2014 draft? I guess the jury is still out on 2014. Cooks looks really good but the rest of that draft sucked fat cock. Why do we suck at the draft? Hopefully Jeff Ireland turns this shite around.

That is really kind of stunning.

Looks like this draft might be better with Anthony, Kikaha, Swann, Tull, Peat (I guess), Murphy, Grayson...

Corey White is apparently doing well at Dallas. So.............technically.........not a total wash?

no, 2014 was worse. 2012 had the bountygate scandal as an excuse. 2014 had Cooks then absolutely nothing.

Toon was given every opportunity and then some.

Bust? Check.

We have got to really work on our scouting department. I'm going through all our drafts under Payton and Loomis and it's pretty unspectacular, mind a few guys here and there.

When you don't have a first or second in a draft it's hard to get top tier talent.

We didn't hit on any gems but it's not like we drafted Sullivan in the first.

Now go do that for all the other teams in the league. You'll find maybe five of them consistently draft well (Ravens probably being number one).

Packers do it the best. There are currently only 2 players on their roster that ever took snaps for another team.

That's how you draft and develop talent.

Edit: They have 3 (Peppers, Kuhn and Guion). Still an amazing fact.

No that was this year that we drafted an unproductive fat guy that won't see the field with a first.

I still don't understand the pick. Drafting a project this late in Drew's career makes zero fricking sense. If you're going for a long haul rebuild, blow the fricker up, don't pay drew 20 mil and try to redistribute the scraps.

Without Brees Loomis is selling golf clubs and Payton is quarterbacks coach in Cleveland.

Packers could definitely make a case but they also refuse to sign players from other teams with the rare exception. So them having almost all drafted players means little without looking at how good all those players are. They are definitely good at drafting but they do have their share of misses. I want to say Bal has fewer misses but I really haven't gone through and looked at every draft of theirs.

yeah, Green Bay has a lot of stability but they've also had basically only 2 QB's since the early/mid 90's.

Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers.

except the time Rodgers got hurt and missed a few games.

they usually just draft like you said but they've landed a few big time free agents who helped them win two Super Bowls.

Reggie White and Charles Woodson.
