Like there was any doubt

New #Saints LB Nate Stupar on difference between here and Atlanta: "The fan base is a lot more passionate down here."

I don't disagree at all. Never have. Georgia residents care more about College Football between UGA and Ga. Tech as well as even the Braves.

New Orleans only has the Saints, so yea... no disagreement here.

This is a dumb argument. Nola is an hour away from BR. So the college debate is stupid.

Hell, Nola is closer to LSU than ATL is to UGA.

Also Nola has the Pels as well. ATL is just a frontrunning, transplant, bullshite city with no culcha.

I don't think you can factor in a college team when talking about a pro team's fanbase. For the longest time, the Saints were it, professionally, in nola, and they had a long time cultivating a rabid fanbase considering that's all they had. The pels don't really take away from that.

Atlanta has the Hawks, Braves, Falcons, and the Thrashers. Regardless of how crappy they've been lately, Braves probably still own that town.

what is funny is that DoubleDown doesn't disagree with what the player says - you guys get pissy by his reply.

you say he is triggered, I say he replied a non-troll answer for once and triggered you guys.

most subtle troll ever.

Exactly. I wasn't sure if zombie was trolling back with his "triggered" response, but it was a pretty level headed reply.

Sounds like you were triggered by the responses to doubledown.

That's a given. I don't see how anyone could argue against it. Atlanta is a corporate city, with loads of people not from there. Our fan base is much more localized meaning people have strong ties to the team. Atlanta probably has some great fans, but they have far more fair weather types.
