lately DD has been worse; however, I think his response got a lot more negative attention than needed...I mean you can say New Orleans has the Pelicans or even LSU, but Atlanta does have a lot more sports teams to follow.

It was hockey. In Atlanta. And they were bad except for 1 year with Hossa (if I remember correctly).

That was doomed from the get but they thought since it was an Eastern transplant city, they might have enough of a fan base for it to survive. But no one in the sports media even cared about it so it never had news or P.R.

That's a given. I don't see how anyone could argue against it. Atlanta is a corporate city, with loads of people not from there. Our fan base is much more localized meaning people have strong ties to the team. Atlanta probably has some great fans, but they have far more fair weather types.

This.

That being said. frick the Saints and Nate Stupar's dumb arse. The media and sports stations always treated him nicely in ATL and even did talks with him weekly on 1 of the sports stations. To piss on the fans like that is unnecessary. But I wouldn't expect anything less from a newfound Saints player.

I hope Darren Sharper roofies him. He's still y'alls starting safety right?

I don't disagree at all. Never have. Georgia residents care more about College Football between UGA and Ga. Tech as well as even the Braves.

New Orleans only has the Saints, so yea... no disagreement here.

Well, at least he gets three more Georgia teams to disappoint him

Uh, we won that game.
Bad example but I see what you're saying.

It's gonna be when ATL hosts the SB in 2017, 2018 or 2019 with our new stadium. We're gonna give the Mercedez Benz SuperDome a real team it can be proud of. Not the fake crap that currently resides in N.O.

You remember this:

quote:

Atlanta Falcons president and CEO Rich McKay has been reinstated as chairman of the NFL's competition committee, effective immediately.

No matter how much the Falcons cheat with crowd noise and officiating, they will not win a Super Bowl. Well, maybe, when Rich McKay has the rules adjusted to flag football, the Falcons will win it all. By then, who cares.
