I know someone posted something like this like 3 months ago but I cant find it and thought more may be interested in doing it now. Its pretty fun if anyone wants to mess with it.

Fanspeak Mock Draft Simulator

My first go at it. I just did the first 2 rounds.

I would would happily take this draft!

Seems like the Saints are trying to build a defense. 2 of the first 3 on the offense just doesn't seem to fit.

As it sits right now we need a G & WR on offense and a ILB & OLB on defense.....I think we are just looking at best player available at those 4 positions going after whichever they have ranked higher instead of 1 position over the other

If only Mckinney was there for 4 more picks...it would be a perfect draft. Who knows though...maybe Perryman turns out to be better. And since when did Eric Kendricks start going around #18? That sucks, he needs to be on the board longer so the other ILB's stay on the board.

We have more pressing needs and to pass on Scherff at 13 would be even more of a mistake.

13: R1P13 WR AMARI COOPER ; ALABAMA

31: R1P31 ILB BENARDRICK MCKINNEY; MISSISSIPPI STATE

44: R2P12 CB MARCUS PETERS ; WASHINGTON

75: R3P11 G LAKEN TOMLINSON ; DUKE

78: R3P14 C HRONISS GRASU ; OREGON

140: R5P12 OLB JAKE RYAN ; MICHIGAN

146: R5P18 OT ROB HAVENSTEIN ; WISCONSIN

171: R6P11 DT XAVIER WILLIAMS ; NORTHERN IOWA

205: R7P13 ILB JEFF LUC ; CINCINNATI

-Amari fell and I HAD to take him
-Peters was BPA on defense in 2nd; useful since Tramon isnt coming
-May have gone a little heavy on OL but if these 3 pan out we're set for a decade
-McKinney and Jake Ryan could be starters for us now

171: R6P11
OLB GENEO GRISSOM

205: R7P13
OT D.J. HUMPHRIES

---cept for a CB a big guy draft

DGB 1st Rd skills, off field risks. Colston replacement in the future

Fisher was the only one I took cuz it looked like can't-pass-on value

love McKinney @ #31

Josh Hill is more in the swifter/receiver type TE. Koyak would be a good pairing. Great blocker and inside game.

Humphries a value pick too. I really don't think he will last anywhere this long
