Hicks has disappointed me for years. I've been vocal about that.
I'm really beginning to believe it's not an issue with Hicks but an issue with Bill Johnson. John Jenkins is another underachieving DT too after flashing his rookie season. It has to be poor technique being taught because the issues are repetitive with various players. Until Johnson is gone, those problems will always be here. Look at Tim Johnson's & Tyrunn Walker’s success in their new places.

I'm not ready to give up on Lelito.
I am. One reason being is that pressure directly in Drew's face is detrimental to his play. Lelito is an issue. Secondly Payton hasn't been hesitant to replace inexperienced poor offensive linemen. He went away from DLP after one & a half seasons. Payton went away from Charles Brown even faster. He also went quickly away from vets like Kreutz & Goodwin after they stunk it up. Lastly, Lelito couldn't beat out an awful Goodwin at center last camp. How did anyone think he was a legitimate starter is beyond me.

Evans is pushing the end. I thought Grubbs was better than him all along.
Maybe. Both had issues & both should have been replaced. Should have taken whatever the Bills offered for Evans & traded him too.

The Strief criticism is way over the top. Unless he aged 4 years since last week, I'm willing to let him have one bad game.
I'm not going in on Strief. He was bad today but today wasn't the norm for him. I'm willing to chalk it up as one of those days were he had a matchup that he couldn't handle. Every player can have one of those days.

Did the front office not just do a complete overhaul to the scouting department earlier this year??? What more do you dumb fricks want?! Jesus, some of you are frickin stupid!

Its all on Payton and Loomis you dumb frick. You can have the greatest talent evaluators in the world, but they not the ones picking these players.

You clearly have no clue as to how the scouting process works you frickin dumbass!
Teams rely on the scouts because they are the ones who actually visit the college games/practices, gather all the information on all players & interview the college coaches for additional information. The head coach & GM use all the information that is gathered by their scouting department to make their final decisions. If your scouts information is shite, your draft choices will be shite.
Now shut the frick up you brain dead frick!

You're fricking stupid. The Saints are 0-2, 2015 is closed for them and whatever recent changes the FO made to the scouting dept is a day late and a dollar short.
The facts speak for themselves. It's a FAIL. A great NFL organization is PROACTIVE. That means that you buy fire insurance BEFORE your house catches on fire, not after.

Lighten up, dude- everyone is entitled to an opinion; you work in the Saint's front office? If not, give it a rest!

No, I don't but do you follow the NFL outside of games on Sunday? Probably not. This is the standard across the league with all teams & how their scouting departments are run. This information is not hard to find if dumbasses actually took the time to read up on it. If you gonna say dumb shite, you better be prepared to get called out for it if you don't know what the frick you are talking about.

I know exactly how the process work. You just reinforced my argument that in the end, Payton and Loomis make this pick. Everyone knows about the scouting department. Everybody knows about all the info they accumalate for the draft process. But in the end, Payton and Loomis are the ones responsible for selecting the player.
