Maybe one day we can win another playoff game....

Fact:
Every playoff game the Saints have won has been with Loomis on staff.

We also have by far our most playoff appearances with him on staff than not.

At what point does Loomis not have to take responsibility?

Since when does a GM just let a coach run wild and draft/sign anybody he wants before he says enough is enough?

Do y'all not understand what General Manager stands for? He is supposed to over see everything the organization does.

I don't care who makes the decisions but someone needs to held responsible for all of these dumb personnel moves that have been made the past 6 seasons. We now have $40 million in dead money this season... The next closest team to us is the Browns at $28 million then the Eagles at $22 million... That is utterly ridiculous. If we had an owner that was involved there is no way this would be allowed... Fire Loomis!!!

The last part is difficult because of the first part

He has no boss. The only accountability he had was banished from the building for firing too many assistants and being mean to people. Everyone is comfortable and complacent.

I think a logical person would realize that the decisions are made over Loomis' head. When they resigned Payton for the money they did, that's a crystal clear message to anyone who wants to listen that Payton is still running the show.

I know people want to blame someone...but I can't figure out why they aren't willing to blame the guy who is actually calling the shots. It must be denial.

because they see Payton and Brees and "Top 1-5ish offense" and jizz their pants, always thinking we're one move or a little luck away on defense... News flash, it's more than that

I loved the Super Bowl run and the 2011 season, but our run as a contender ended that Monday night in Seattle. That's when the long downhill slide began that is only picking up steam.

Cheer for Brees to get to some records, but be cognizant how the focus on our offense hurt our team. Sean Payton used to talk about "complementary football". Guess what. the teams that play it don't talk about it.

What has the offense done wrong in the past 6 games to have a 3-3 record?

15 go ahead TDs for Brees in the 4th quarter in games we've lost. That's on the defense.

The focus on offense? We've been pretty defensive focused lately.

Edit: nevermind, I just remembered you're the guy who wants to trade Brees for picks
