This is like the second or third time you've posted this. Do you have some type on info or just running your mouth?

Can Unger stay healthy? Who knows, but he is arguably the best lineman on the team right now. He is a very good, very smart player. On the flip side can Jimmy stay healthy? He has very limited football wear on his body, but he is 29 and has been dealing with increasingly amounts of injuries. I am more concerned about his foot than anything.

Browner maybe a better player for longer than 2 years. Regardless he is better than what we have for at least the next 2 years if he signs.

I am not sure the 31st pick has that much to prove. It is hard to know what will be around and what we need at that point. I would actually love to move into the second and get more picks anyway.

So two bad/early injury years and four mostly or fully healthy ones. Not ideal but also not a bad ratio.

Here's the thing though, he may never get injured (to the point of missing time) again. Or he could be another Butler. Just pray the football gods are with us.

While trying to down vote you, I up voted you

He's missed 13 games the last 2 years.

Simply put its a business!!Sometimes you have to make decisions that you think will benefit the team.

then loomis should have never signed graham in the first place b/c we wasted a lot of cap last year and this year on him that could have gone to D

Hindsight though.

We had a top 5 defense in 2013 and added Byrd to that mix.

We also had no idea that Evans was going to go from a top G in the league to one of the worst in 1 season.

Graham on a roster with a great offensive line and a great defense would be fine.

We can all go 20/20 on the play calling that has fallen short and all the picks that didn't work out as well.
Still think its a good FO and coaching staff.

We are reloading year to year as best we can to win now.
Almost worked in 2011.
If we have a sh!t storm this year like last then I will begin to question everyone from ownership to the guy who inflates the balls.

What do you mean by this? I don't follow all the inside moves and such year to year.

I didn't want to bump another Jimmy thread or start a new one so I'll put this here. There's a video on bleacher report with a legit nfl guy talking about hearing that we were worried about Jimmy's body breaking down and that we didn't think he would finish his contract.

Given his injury history and the shots guys try to put on him, I can believe that.

yeah, can't wait to see the O-line come together. Sooner or later.. I think we can have a top group barring injury.

maybe now we can shore the D.

that D-line was suspect in the middle last year too. Maybe somebody like Randy Starks can come in and add depth. Or even start.. I mean Hicks and Jenkins both underwhelmed last year. Jenkins was hurt while Hicks would just show up occasionally. I thought Hicks took a step back after coming along some in 2013???

I don't know but since we traded away a big weapon like Graham to improve the D then all spots on D should be up for debate.

Bunkley is staying and we know what we're getting there but what about Hicks and Jenkins? Tyrunn Walker? Walker did okay at times.

Jenkins never seemed to settle in during last year.

Unger missed some games last year but for the most part he's been healthy

He's an all-pro and he's on a cap friendly deal as well. He's under contract for 2 more years which means we can tag him in year 3 and then work out a deal when he's 31 and he won't have has much leverage.

And by that time Grubbs and Evans will be gone and hopefully we will build our offensive line through the draft and we have a dominant offensive line by then
