Not sure if this was already posted. Simply put its a business!!Sometimes you have to make decisions that you think will benefit the team.

browner
1st round pick

he's not lying, but I would bet the farm Jimmy fricked with the only 2 people in the building you do not frick with

I mean yeah. Like everyone says you have to give something up of value to get something back.

I think it will hurt us to some extent just because I see Graham still being very successful in Seattle for a long time. But...I also think this is a chance for the offense to reinvent itself. I think we got too reliant on old tricks the last couple of years. Payton will be forced to adjust to a more ground and pound PA style and every true fan knows that's when we're at our most successful.

Having a guy like Jimmy is fantastic, but when you're offense will still work without him and your defense has holes all over, I'm fine with the move.

When you put it this way the trade leaves me feeling a bit.... well apprehensive.

Can Unger stay healthy?
Browner is good/talented, and provides toughness, but it's really just a 2 year stop gap.
That 1st round pick at #31 now has a lot of pressure on himself to get out there and produce.

While this is true, I hope we get the pieces in place to make this a reality. We still need to improve the interior O-line in order to make this happen. This should also cut down on Brees' interceptions, as he now doesn't have someone available where he tends to try and force passes into triple coverage.

payton is like an autocratic tyrant

just look at him the wrong way and he'll fricking clip you.

even if you hate the trade, you have to love that payton is anything but complacent.

i guess we'll add a corner but I think we need to add some depth up front.

Kendall Langford from the Rams or Randy Starks.

Starks just got released from Miami so they could make room for Suh and his monster deal.

Starks may not be cheap but he can rush the passer from the inside. Something that was nonexistent on this team last year.

Its interesting to me that he specifically says it was to fix the defense. What does that mean?

Does that mean we get a CB in FA, spend all of the rest of our FA dollars on Offense, and then go D with those first 3 picks? Or is it the opposite? What's the plan here?

Browner would be a good start, we still 2 not 1 OG's. With the addition of Unger I am excited that fixing the interior OL seems to be a priority.

Pretty sure you need to go back and check the facts.
