Might not be the case, but he's making it look like he's hiding something.

Would much rather the McCaffrey to the Panthers that the article hints at over them drafting Fournette if he is still available.

There have been reports saying McCaffrey could be picked in the top 10, possibly by this team. Florio says they’ve been told McCaffrey is unlikely to be taken lower than No. 15 overall.

Hopefully we aren't "that guy"

if he's there Payton will probably be tempted but might as well pick a WR or TE at #32 and just say frick the defense if you take McCaffrey at 11.

That article links to this article as "that team".

Report: Christian McCaffrey could be target for Panthers at No. 8

The Carolina Panthers appear to be seeking a running back with their top ten pick.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Wednesday that it “wouldn’t be shocking or surprising” if the team goes with Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey at No. 8 overall.

The Panthers are reportedly contemplating another top running back as well. It sounds as though there is a concerted effort to get Cam Newton some help on offense to hopefully get the Panthers back into Super Bowl contention as quickly as possible

His father is probably behind this and I'd much rather deal with him going to the Panthers than L.F.

I really don't want to draft this guy unless we trade down to the late teens. I'd take him there in that scenario...while at the same acquiring around a 2nd rounder.

That would give us McCaffrey, #32, #42, another 2nd rounder, & 2 3rd rounders.

As would I. If you put LF behind an above average OL...he will embarrass you.

There is no doubt McCaffrey would fit that Pierre- Sproles piece the offense is missing unfortunately this defense is so in need of help .

Maybe Ed will pull an Archie and not let him play until he's traded to an offense like the saints that he'll succeed in.

This isn't uncommon for guys with no character issues and a top 10-15 promise.

Good for CM declining workouts, kid has nothing to prove. Hope Sean picks him at #11 than the busts of Foster, Barnette or another defensive mofo.

Pick defense with your #32 & #42. Get a receiver with one of the 3rd pics.Should be able to get Watt at #32 and a CB at #42.

I kind of understand his logic. Everyone is saying that he is probably a Top 15 pick right now. So he says why risk injury or dropping his stock with a bad performance.
