Two?

I'm just going to assume you are a huge fricking idiot.

It's 2016. Team isn't winning. LSU has put out stars in the past few drafts. Let go of your shithead stubborn "don't take players from lsu tiger rant" ways. Times change.

Fournette would be wasted here, CSP doesn't know how use power running backs and more importantly we don't have oline for that type of FB.

And most importantly, we will never win shite if we don't fix the defense first....

No, but for two 1st round picks, he needs to produce like a top tier RB and be a feature of the offense. What was the point of that move? Role playing RBs are a dime a dozen in the later rounds and in the undrafted pool.

I'll take Tre White or Beckwith in the draft. And while LF7 will be great in the NFL, we have much bigger needs. Regardless of where our draft pick went to school. Ingram isn't the problem with this team.

I agree, dude is a bum, been saying this for a while. Ok backup, but not a starter.

So you would select a subpar defensive player rather than the best player in the draft? Gotcha.

So you're telling me every defensive player that will go in the 1st round is going to be subpar? What stupidity

LF can only help the offense not the defense. No matter how good the offense is, a team will lose a bunch of games if the defense is complete trash.

You do realize a lot of teams don't always pick the best overall player available? A lot of them pick the player that they need at the moment.
It's dumb that even have to argue that the defense needs all the help that they can get.

As much as I'd love to see LF7 here, he won't help this team. To many needs including OL. He'd get killed running behind our OL.

God LSU fans are insufferable when it comes to Ingram. He could run for 150 yards and score 3 yes in 1 game but if he fumbles one time you guys would act like he sucks and is worthless.
I don't know why Ingram fans create these wildly unrealistic scenarios to defend their man

It's the body of work during his career that is disappointing

On like three carries when we actually got him to the second level. If he's the number one back, he doesn't get that stat line. Barring the ill-timed fumble, Ingram has an exceptional day.

Do elaborate?

Does he not work hard preparing for games? Does he not support the Saints? Does he not complain about his role? Does he not try his best to fit into a system he's given, regardless of his benching in his 2nd/3rd year?

Or are we complaining about him cheering for bama on the sideline.

If these are the requirements to be on the Saints payroll sign me up. I'll try hard too.

Doesn't make me worth a roster slot

Career average: 4.2 ypc

Never rushed for 1k yards. On his 6th season with the Saints and has only rushed for more than 500 yards 3 times. Has averaged below 4.0 ypc 3/6 seasons. He's basically a bust for a heisman winning 1st round RB.

Ingram isn't top-15 at his position

He was cursed when he got drafted by NO.

If his carries went up by 10 more carries per game, he would be.
Name me 15 RBs better than ingram? I can probably only name 10 when we're talking game-in and game-out, not just 1 breakout WOW game for Fantasy points.

That's idiotic. Trent Richardson doesn't "deserve a roster slot".
Mark Ingram hits the market, he gets a team that day and starts for half of them easily.

4.2 is average and if you look at all of the current starters right now it is at the average, but if you've looked at our RBs and running production SINCE 2011 you could easily see it was our whole team and not just him

Hell, even early on when he was a "3rd down back" it was purely on playcalling where he met 7-8 in the box when he came in because it was a run 70%+ of the time. Hell, even listen to the soundFX against Philly in the playoffs: "22 is in, watch the run watch the run".

Numbers that are based off quantity are a poor measuring stick because even fan favorites like PT, Sproles, Ivory, Robinson, and even Deuce had different roles since 2006. Hell, Deuce in 2004 had played 14 games yet had 25 more carries than in 2005 where he played 15 games. That is the way this offense is built and requires a RB to be good in 3 phases as opposed to be excellent in running alone. As to why Ivory didn't work here long term although he was a MUCH better rusher, he was a piss poor pass protector and a piss poor receiver.

Ontop of that, Deuce is loved by everyone on here yet never got the shite you guys give Ingram for fumbling yesterday on a DAMN good play.

Deuce: 1663 touches (rushing+receiving) - 19 fumbles, 13 lost; 1 fumble per 87.5 touches, 1 lost per 127.9 touches
Ingram: 959 touches (rushing+receiving) - 7 fumbles, 4 lost; 1 fumble per 137 touches, 1 lost per 239.75 touches
