wrong. saints are 4-1 in that stretch 3 of which were home games where we blew up the opponent without the run game anyway.

In games we lost ingram was a combined 26 rushes for 129 yards (4.96ypc) and 3 receptions on 3 targets for 46 yards. That was against carolina (#2 defense, #2 run defense), seattle (#1 defense, #8 run defense), jets (#8 defense, #3 run defense), and st. louis (#15 defense, #9 run defense).

Sorry but your bama/ingram hate is definitely wrong there, try again.

The problem is the lack of talent in the offensive line. Left tackle and center are problems

If a solid OT is available when we draft, we will scoop him up- definite position of need!

Are you serious? Thomas has over 1,000 yards in offense and Sproles has over 1,000 counting special teams. I'm sure you would like to only count running average but that only proves my point about him being one-dimensional.

He was thrown at all of 9 times this season. He didn't play as much as Sproles or PT, so he couldn't have had the same opportunities to catch the football. That said, those are two of the best pass catching backs in the game. The odd man out doesn't get the same production, but that doesn't mean he isn't good at it.

quote:

They should forget about Brees, Graham, Sproles, Thomas, Colston, Meachem, Moore, Stills, and Watson. They should focus on Mr. YPC Ingram.

So, last two years he sucks because of low YPC, his YPC becomes a whole yard better and now he sucks because he has a high YPC?

quote:

Did you ever consider Ingram has better stats this year because defenses aren't worried about him?

You mean the opposite of the past few years when he was only in to run for like one play and then leave? When he got longer stretches with the ball, he produced more on the ground because it wasn't a sure thing he was going to run. And we pass short a lot, not exactly something you back off for...

quote:

With the cold weather predicted for Philadelphia this Saturday, we need tough RBs to carry the load. That should be Thomas & Robinson. Sproles may be limited by weather and Ingram should only see the field once the game has already been decided.

So if Ingram has a higher YPC than them what will you say? Still shouldn't have been running?

Armstead showed improvement from the first start to the next. He has the physical tools. I am excited to see him next season after a full offseason of strength and conditioning.

Do you think NFL players prepare literally all day every day for games and don't have off time? I can assure you many players for all teams in the playoffs are enjoying the night off right now.
