I think about 800 and 6. Not that he can't hit 1,000 but I think PT getting the passing downs and spelling Ingram with KRob will keep him just under.

I do think he might get about 20 receptions.

under on both. The Saints have had 1 back reach 1,000 yards under Sean Payton. Deuce had 1,057 yards in 2006. Since then, the highest rushing total was Pierre Thomas with 793 in 2009. Payton has also only had 2 seasons where a player rushed for more than 6 touchdowns. 2006 Deuce with 10 and 2008 Thomas with 9.

I think he'll probably come up a bit shy of 1000

This was my last o/u thread...I know how to pick em

But seriously he's looked great, and he's gotten the carries...the ability is there, the commitment to the ground game seems to be in place, and if Ingram is hot, I expect him to keep getting more carries

Then I guess Ingram is gonna be a baller this year then.

This is one hell of a turn around for him. We were ready to give up on him early last year, he just looked like he didn't have the vision to see upfield and now he does.

Can't wait to see how he does.

He's seeing the holes getting to the second level and getting YAC

Pass protection is very good
He can catch (admittedly not as well as Thomas)

He's easily our best back...I'm not worried about the touches like most. I'm worried about Robinson and Thomas running out the clock once we have it in the bag

I'm drafting Ingram late and he's penciled in the startin lineup for week 1

He's getting better at protecting Drew and we made a very good move signing Goodwin and keeping strief for those screen passes we excel at with Thomas and then some with Ingram.

I liked what I saw from Robinson late last year. He's going to be very serviceable.

If you have a 1000 yd back, you won't have him for long. under on both RB by committee as long as CSP is here.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we suck really bad at screen passes last year? Specifically against Seattle I recall banging my head against the wall because we kept trying to screen on multiple plays and they all failed. Lack of run game and WRs who couldn't get separation were to blame for that. With more weapons this year, the screen game most certainly will open up.

Under. Pt looked better than Ingram. Not sure why people keep saying he's our best back. 3rd and 8 at the goal line think real hard which one you would want the ball to go to. If you're thinking Ingram you're drinking the kkoolaid.

The problem with PT is that he no longer has the endurance to be run all year.
We saw that last season.

It's probably why we're changing his role a bit.

I want the ball thrown to Jimmy Graham in this situation

Yes. The screen game was predictable and just didn't work at the most critical times last year.

What games have you been watching?

Neither

Ingram is going to be our featured back this year, and he's playing well enough to deserve that. You should probably get used to it now.
