I'm as big of an LSU fan as you can get but this hate has absolutely got to stop for Mark Ingram. I'm going through numerous threads of fans wanting to dump Ingram or trade him for peanuts, what the hell is wrong with all of you?

Of RBs with at least 200+ carries, Mark Ingram's YPC is 5.1, which is tied with Ezekiel Elliott and behind only LeSean McCoy and Jordan Howard.

Don't pay attention to the trolls. Peterson is not a replacement for Ingram. He is a replacement/upgrade to Hightower. Anyone with half of a brain understands this.

i can't stand Bama myself either but I mean.. we need banter on the board too.

not saying its right or wrong but it can be funny at times.

its just most of the time it isn't funny which sucks

I think the problem is all the stuffs for no gain when you only need 1 or 2 yards, often when the game is on the line, that's what people blame him for and resent him but he isn't the one blocking or calling the play everyone and their uncle knows is coming.

I think that is why everyone goes along with the bashing, they remember that last play when he didn't get us the first down that would have won the game or allowed us to run out the clock.

that said, I don't think he is "as good" as some want to make him out to be either so the "unfair" hype goes both ways, because he is more solid average producer then a game changer in my opinion

He had kind of a slow start to his career, we traded up to get him, and he went to Alabama. Some LSU/Saints fans will never forgive him, even if he is a productive player.

It hes good

What situations? When we want to pass? Because Ingram is known as the better pass blocker and receiver out of the the backfield. If you are referring to short yardage, then hell yeah, give it to AP.

The reality is that our offense's #1 option will always be the passing game and Brees. We just now have more options in the run game to open up more of the passing game.

FIFY.

Which is less than almost all the RBs in the NFL, but it's a "problem."

he gets shitted on here when he does bad.

he's no different than any other player.

some of the threads about Brees on here are the worst.

some over reaction response to an interception during a game.

the Ingram hate just has more hot sauce on it I guess considering he's from Bama.

he had a shitty fumble late in the game at KC last year and fumble at home the next week against Seattle that was returned for a score.

now, we rallied in the Seattle game obviously but the hate at that time was warranted.

Ok, Ok. he's better than Trent Richardson...

And Leonard Fournette is better than "Mark Ingram the Avg NƒL RB.

Can you start excepting reality ??

and people wanted Colston cut after his late fumble against ATL in the 2014 opener.

they totally trash a player when they make a huge mistake.

its like what message boards are for in a way.

you might not believe what you're typing but you're pissed off.. so who cares?

Based on what?

The 66 yards he gained in two games against the only legit defense he faced?

It's our offensive line not Ingram that's what you're missing. Hightower rushed for 87 and 102 when he got ingrams carries. Can't wait for AP to put his arse on the bench let him have his hissy fits on the sidelines he can come in and give the goat a breather.

I know yall hate advanced stats but football outsiders has us the #1 run blocking o-line last year.

Ap still has game breaking speed. At worst this is like Chris Ivory 2011 here, he rushed for 1,000 that year. Chris is a very poor mans Adrian, we now have the real Adrian.
