He's leaving with nothing but love for NOLA if you check his twitter out. I don't wanna pile on the guy, he was here for our Super Bowl and did what was asked of him.

Best of luck MJ!

yea i'm being facetious. It's bittersweet to see another XLIV team member go, but it was time. We needed an upgrade. Best wishes to him, as long as he's not playing us.

Jenkins said there wasn't much talk w: Saints through FA process. Philly told him he was "No. 1 on their list." Eagles called ASAP March 8

Just chatted with Malcolm Jenkins, "Saints didn’t offer me anything. So I really had no choice but to move."

Always be thankful for helping us get to the Super Bowl, but I think both sides realized it was time to move on.

You don't say?

I loved the guy as a person from what you could gather from interviews, but as a player he underperformed way to often.

My joy of not seeing the Saints pay that amount for MJ isn't far behind the joy of the Byrd signing.

I was really fearful he would be back ala the allegiance to past players we have seen. Color me impressed that they didn't repeat that mistake.

No hate on MJ, good luck when you're not playing us. If he would have been a 3rd Rd pick all would have been fine. He just never played up to his draft position.

I won't miss the arm tackles and bad angles though. He's a cover boy to not expend 1st Rd picks on players you project to a different position.

I thought the Saints would be cleaning house and they're not disappointing me. Good stuff so far.

color this board impressed.

I think everyone's biggest fear going into the off-season was allegiance. Either BB and SP sat down and talked or SP realized it during his suspension that it's time to do what's best for the team.
