The mostl likely scenario is 32 for Butler.

Trade looks like this when you consider all of the moving pieces:

Butler and a 3 for cooks and a 4.

No surprise he's been "warming up" to the idea, Butler has been in NOLA since yesterday

So the Patriots are just gonna give Butler to the Saints and get nothing....yea ok! Pretty sure Loomis has ZERO % chance of pulling that off....

Patriots WILL get a 1st rounder if Butler ends up in N.O. and Lommis will bend over and take it!

I think it depends on many scenarios. He appears to want out and I don't think they want to keep him simply because of that. If he doesn't have much interest from other teams then they have to take what they can get or keep him. If they keep him they risk a locker room cancer because he's clearly not happy. Not sure Patriots can say they hold all the cards. Anyone else interested? I saw Houston maybe wants to give a 2nd for him but that could be complete BS floated out there in hopes the Saints bite.

Pretty sure this is a business and the Saints will give up at least 42.

Or else the Pats will just send him to Houston

It's better than the comp pick they would get in two years, so I guess it depends how they trust Butler play and attitude if he's playing under his tender.

And the fact that there's a leak about Bellichick's buddy willing to trade a 2nd for Butler tells me that it might very well be correct.

Was coming to say this, O'Brien could be driving the price up for Ole Bill - knowing that the Texans 2nd falls between our 2nd and 3rd.
