Most important player on the defense right now IMO. Evident when he left last night.

the perfect example of today's game where the player wants to go back- and prolly would have up to just a couple of yrs ago. All for player health and safety but there were some epic warriors in times past we'll likely never see again. Did like hearing Harper say afterwards he would definitely be back next week.

Won't know till tomorrow. He will have to be cleared by an independent Neuro before they can say whether he can play or not.

Humbra?

He played till the end of the game.

Did he fall off the jetway or something?

At one point in the game he came out to get his ankle rewrapped. He played the rest of the game though. I say he's alright.

He'll be back. Dude got his bell rung but keeping him out was lame as frick. Regardless, I think we sign a FA CB and draft one very early. May even draft two

I dunno. Gotta let free agency play out, but we need an upgrade at C. Need a stud WR. Need a CB. Needed a LT (sure am glad Armstead has stepped up, might not have to waste a first on the OL now).

I don't think you can say this without knowing why the kept him out. He may have thought we were still at Seattle.

That's good enough for me. Don't want to see a repeat of that performance.

I'm pretty sure they make you take tests to get a baseline of normal mental activity, answer questions, reaction times and such. The NFL has taken this out of team hands and put it on supposedly independent doctors. I've no doubt that if the team and Lewis were in control he'd play, but the standard isn't set by the teams, it's set by doctors under they guidance of liability fearing lawyers

oh man, definitely. He'd have been back in on the next drive for sure; possibly on the same drive after hitting some smelling salts even.

I'm no lawyer, but I would guess the NFL guys will likely use footage of that in their defense in the concussion suits. First you see him groggy as hell, then later he's clear-eyed and demanding to return... and he was clearly the best defensive option for the coaches. If it wasn't for the new safety guidelines, every coach in the league would have put him back in.
