I don't think he'll end up here obviously, but to say he wouldn't be a huge upgrade over Ingram is just silly.

He's basically Adrian Peterson plus catching and pass protection. A 3-down star back.

Although I'm sure he's going to be good, he also needs to work on receiving and pass protection.

Ingram isn't elite, but he's still a top 10 rb with the elite being guys like Johnson, Elliott, bell, and McCoy.

There is no doubt Fournette is an elite talent, one of the best pure RBs I've ever seen, but our offense is just not a good fit for him.

Ingram is great. Needs more carries, not less.

We still miss that joker. Hopefully we're looking with our other picks, but not 11. I like Samuel, personally.

Leonard was made to play in The Crescent City. What a dream it would be to see him play in New Orleans.

Ingram is just not on Fournette's level. And thats not a knock on Ingram or my Bama hate. Ingram is a very good power back with good hands.

Leonard didn't get to showcase his hands much, because Cam Cameron, but he has WR hands.

Breauxmoe you got to be fricking kidding me! This is a once in a generation back with speed, vision, and power! The hands were not showcased because LSU did not have the QB or offense to throw him the ball. If he doesn't go top 2 if not first I will be shocked! Have a down vote...

He will not fall to us. If we trade up to get him you can pretty much kiss good bye any chance of upgrading this horrible defense of ours. If this was a middle of the pack defense I would say pull the trigger but the Saints d. is that bad.

Would you trade our 3rd round pick to move up a few picks to get Leonard?

Fournettte is the only offense player at 11. Watt at 32. Both players not there draft 2 corners. Breaux, Williams, Moore, and Harris isn't the answer.

The main reason to consider Fournette is to have a franchise face that could play now as Brees is winding down his career. I think Brees has a good teo to three left in him though at least. Fournette could definitely help the offense and be a fixture in the city long term. I think he could line up at WR or RB in the offense.

Now the defense is more the problem, but do they want to wait on finding an exciting marketable guy in Louisiana or not.

If our defense was at least middle of the road quality yes I would. I believe L.F. is potentially the kind of back to build your offense around. Not just because of his physical tools but due to his character and potential I think he is one of the few running backs worth the 1st round investment.

Just read an article in The Times Picayune stating that Reuben Foster can't seem to learn a playbook. What a surprise.

We haven't seen the best of Leonard yet. He was muzzled with Les and Cam along with injuries. A healthy season under a legit coaching staff will see Leonard look like Walter Payton.
