I don't blame Graham for taking this route though. I really don't. It's in his interest too. Yes it's a team sport, but teammates aren't going to be paying your bills for you when you're 10 years removed from the game.

I don't blame him either; let him scrape every penny he can get. He might be getting it from another team that doesn't have Drew Brees throwing him the ball. I don't see anyway in the world the Saints pay him $11 to 12M a year; that's not going to happen...not long term.

The irony is Graham most probably loses in the long run if he wins his grievance.

How can you blame him. His camp thinks he plays a certain position a heftier amount than another and that he deserves the higher pay. Nothing wrong with it, what is wrong is idiots going "PAY THE MAN", stop screwing him over, etc.

As if other teams would willingly pay players more than their tag designation because they're good people. If they could save 2mil, they'd save 2mil.

Well said!

Jerry Jones jumped out there and overpaid players for years...look where that got them.

In terms of what? Salary, stats, future contract?

Could he end up with a really shitty christian ponder type qb if he leaves NO? Sure but the games constant shift towards passing means that he doesn't need a great qb to get great stats.

Look at all the Qbs that have thrown for over 4,000 yards lately. Finding a Matt Stafford, Tony Romo type qb that is good enough to make sure his stats stay high isnt that difficult in today's nfl.
