You people are retarded. This is fine if the money isn't a lot.

He's got skins on the wall and would be a good backup and sub.

He's not the best anymore but it's fine for depth.

4-3 Sets: WLB Laurinaitis, MLB Anthony, SLB Ellerbe
3-4 Sets: JACK Kikaha, MIKE Laurinaitis, WILL Anthony, SAM Ellerbe

???? Got to be the thinking
A waste of money if Lee were a target. Take LB off the list in the first 3 rounds.

Maybe A'Shawn is on our board for flexibility reasons.
Maybe that makes Chris Jones in the 2nd an option too.

Agreed. If he got back up money to perform a back up role, then what's the gripe? However, if he got starter's money, with team team expecting him to start at MLB or WLB, then we are in trouble. All we can do is wait to see how it plays out.

Literally one of the worst linebackers in the league and we're blowing cap on him

That's what I'm afraid of, but I don't see him beating out a healthy Ellerbe, or playing SLB.

I wish the Saints weren't paying him at all.

he struggled mightily with better talent D-line talent in front of him the last few with the Rams.

but yeah, if the money is right what could be possibly be wrong here? He'll just be another player we make fun of.

Well I guess whoever has been making all the shitty personel decisions over the last few years is still making the calls.

I'm hoping he was brought in to coach up Anthony Kekaha and debo jones. Maybe similar to what Kevin Williams did, the optimist in me is hoping Kevin Williams influenced the young d line to play to their potential, hopefully lauranitis does the same for the linebackers.
