Whoa whoa whoa.
I was told he sucks, he was the worst pick in the draft, he will never be good, he's a bust, he will never play again, and the Saints FO were fools to draft such a bum.
I don't know what to believe.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore working off to the side with trainer as he works his way back with minor knee injury. Has missed nearly 2 weeks.
Also, scroll down, video of him stretching, along with camp updates:

I thought he lost a leg on here yesterday. How can this be possible??

I'm starting to wonder if Lattimore is the next Ingram, just to a lesser degree. A damn good football player that some made up their minds about the second he was drafted and he will always be a disappointment in their eyes.

My post about him returning to practice has two down votes so you're probably on to something
A few of the idiots here would rather be "right" than have the Saints end up with a good player

Cooks got the same label because we traded up for him, and he didnt get 1k receiving yards as a rookie. What im saying is some people are stupid

My concern is more with the Saints medical staff. Either they can't properly identify issues or are terrible at treatment. I'm hopeful about Lattimore and feel he was a good pick. I just have no hope left when it comes to the Saints medical folks

It's amazing and makes little sense. He was a universal top 5 player in the draft that inexplicably fell to us because of an unpredictable run on WRs and QBs. It was an amazing stroke of luck.
And people hate him because he wasn't a SEC DE.

I tend to agree with this, especially with a pattern of key injuries which seem to happen every year. at least the last 3.
SBN
"The difference for Lattimore in his final season at Ohio State was a shift in the way he approached stretching and strength and conditioning. The Saints should create a plan for Lattimore to keep him loose and healthy enough to reach the same heights he did last year."

The injury wasn't anything to do with stretching or strengthening the hamstrings though. It's one of those injuries that just happen when you turn or plant wrong.
Same thing with Lewis. Nothing they could have done to prevent that. Same with Byrd (came in injured and then injured his knee which can't be prevented by the medical staff). Victor Butler.
I could keep listing guys that have nothing to do with prevention or the process of rehab itself.
Now what the medical staff does seem to suck at is diagnosis and recommending the proper course for correction (such as whether to do surgery or not). There have been several players who were misdiagnosed or told to put off surgery when they should have gotten it straight away.

I am not sure how the injury happened but it sounds like he got into a specific regiment with stretching.

Th college injury or the most recent one?
The most recent one was just a bad plant and it twisted his knee a bit. No amount of stretching or strengthening is going to prevent that. It has nothing to do with his hamstrings which was his issue in college (which does have to do with stretching and strengthening, which I'm sure they are continuing to follow).

Current one. I assumed his stretching routine was not just for his hamstring even though I am sure that was the focus.
Just saying unless CSP talks about how he got injured I don't fully believe what I read in the media. And yep, I know he does not talk about camp injuries.
Also not suggesting I think this is a hammy issues.

The injury is known already. The severity was the question. He tweaked his knee while covering a receiver (some reporters said they saw it buckle a bit).
That's never been the question. It was how severe the knee injury was and Payton striaght up said it wasn't that bad (which with him can mean many things I guess). Lattimore being back on the sidelines is proof it wasn't that bad.
So no this injury had nothing to do with stretching or strengthening.
