I love this post bone. THIS IS A FAN POST.

Biased? Over hopeful? Too much koolaid? Who cares! Fandom originated from the word FANATIC. Do I have worries about the team? Critique of trades? Critique of draft? Yes! But my hope will always override those.

In today's parity laden NFL it is no shock to see Carolina go from 15-1 to 6-10 or Dallas from 4-12 to 13-3. If you cannot imagine a 7-9 back to contention you might have lost perspective. The margins are razor thin. It wouldn't take much to happen. A new shutdown corner in the league, a sheriff on the back end. A full season of an experienced Rankins, Klein proves to be a go-to starter, the always Top 5 offense cranking it up another level, Special Teams maybe finally gets back to being something special, etc.

2009 had a great number of lucky bounces along with solid and opportune play. You know there were 3 or 4 wins missed last year on 6 or less plays. This could be the year the bounces go back in the right direction.

We signed Williams just a couple of years ago. Played for a season, maybe 2.

You aren't the only one. It's incredible that the collapse was caught on camera.

That was one of the greatest seasons by an NFL FS in....maybe ever? It just seemed like he made several impact plays every single game - not to mention all the pick 6s! Dude raped it in '09!

Fify... but seriously. That 2009 season was unreal. I just can't fathom why any athlete would have to resort to shite that Sharper did. Blows my mind.

He can continue to rape all he wants in prison and I will still be forever grateful for that 09 season. Hope he gets the help he needs and ends up in the HOF at some pt

Thanks blues. As always a very classy poster.

I expected the litany of rape jokes, but your post was very refreshing and I'm glad to see people out there showing optimism about a new season despite our run of mediocrity as of late.

And we've been a few plays away the last few years from being 11-5 as opposed to 7-9. As you said the margins are razor thin and one play can literally win or lose you a game.

We can have more or less the same team we had last year and go 10-6 with a couple more good bounces. If they are a much better team (which we expect) they'll get a first round bye with a couple good bounces

I know he would still be in legal trouble in other states, but I think his louisiana charges should be thrown out because of what that season meant to this state.

I'm dead serious so downvote away; I just think he should get a pass here.

Opposing teams never saw, heard, felt what happened to them or remembered anything the next morning after playing the saints.

All they knew was they lost
