He can block too which is a big plus

Meateye did you actually read the strengths and weaknesses on him. Literally the first three or four weaknesses are listed as his strengths. Makes no fricking sense.
Also sounds like another Marquise Lee so no fricking way. Lee had tons of catches but his game translates like shite to the NFL. Sounds like this guy is a clone of him.

That's a new one. Personally, I'd prefer a OG and LB/DT or 2 front 7 guys with those picks. There will be quality WRs later and let's face it...we plug and play at that spot and have one of the best offenses like clockwork. That aspect doesn't worry me

good draft talk thread!
For a WR I think they would ideally want the big framed type guy. Graham is a big target subtraction and this might be it for Colston. Cooper or White would likely be BPA if there at 13 while also fitting that type. At #31 Strong or DGB fit the bill and could rate that high.
As others have said, it's all value and who is on the board tho. Mariota would be the tough one for me. He could conceivably be there. Remember Aaron Rodgers was in the same Top Pick/QB talk and fell to 24.

I'm going to disagree and say they like enough of what they saw from Coleman and Jones to be okay with the big bodies and are looking more for someone to replace what Stills did.
Not that Cooks can't take the top off of defenses but he is also very valuable in the short passing game as a quick hitter and possession receiver (which we used him as mostly early in the year). Having someone else that can also take the top off will allow us to be a lot more versatile, much more so than adding another big body.
And Payton was raving about that kid from Miami that sounds a lot like a faster version of Stills.

Yeah I did notice that. I was thinking of him as the across the middle/goal line type receiver though. Which Colston used to be and I hope Toon will be. But who knows if that will come to pass. So if they are looking for a Colston replacement then I think this dude fits the bill. JMHO

If we somehow landed a guy like Gregory or Dupree along with a top OLineman I will be in a fapping coma

I like Gregory but I'm not sure if Payton will go that way, With all the cleaning house of the locker room problems. I think I would much rather go Sherff or Collins (If available) at 13 then go Anthony/Perryman at 31.

Uhh no.
Why you say that?

Everything I have read puts him as a combine star, with serious development issues in route running and his hands. The team isn't in the position to take a shot on what might be at #31. You take the sure prospect at a need position or trade back.

Umm since when does a linebacker run routes?

For some reason I thought we were talking about the UCF WR.

Breshad Perriman
Denzel Perryman

I figured, his name is Perriman. I was talking about Denzel Perryman / LB / Miami

I don't get the sense that the USC kid could be like Colston but I will admit I haven't looked at too much film on him. And I still think, especially with Jimmy gone, Colston will be able to do his thing in the red zone. Jimmy basically stole all of those tds. Colston will have his chance to get them back.
And yeah Perrymen seems like a good option. There are actually a lot of good looking options at ILB around 31-44. I feel like we can definitely snag one of them.

I was meaning in the near future. Colston at the most has 2 years left in him.

Like I said before, It will be really hard for us to go wrong with the 31 and 44 pick, Stacked with talent in that area of the draft. If we can trade back to the 36-39 range because of one of these QB desperate teams wanting back in the first, and pick up a 4th I think that's the way to get the most out of this draft. JMHO

dang, Kiper has Perriman going at #10 to the Rams.
Perryman from Miami reminds me of a younger Curtis Lofton except maybe he's a bigger hitter? I don't know.
I want Dawson, McKinney, or Anthony if we even pick a LB

this might sound fricked up but I'm looking forward to the 2nd and 3rd rounds more than the 1st
that's LB territory.
i'm just gonna go ahead and assume we aren't picking one though.
you will not make this putt you JACKASS!
